Karla was another exeption nurse with a wonderful sense of humor. Abbey was also exceptional in every way. I wish I could remember every name that made this stay so memorable. I can't say enough about sweet Caesar and Morgan. I didn't know care like this existed anymore. I wish I could recall the name of the lovely woman that came to my bedside and offered daily meal choices. The doctor listened closely to my concerns, the physical therapist . Just the best! all the best to these caregivers and many many thanks!

It was a Monday so with that in mind I try to be somewhat patient. I went in around 5pm. Waiting…read moreroom was packed more than I had ever seen. However it was a slog to get people in and out. Many people were sitting for much longer than we were and still those people were not seen by the time I left. The staff really had no empathy with all those who came up to the window to ask how much longer. More like programmed speech. Some just didn't have any personality at all which made you wonder why they were in the health industry to begin with. I'm not sure if they were short handed but we sat there for three hours til we finally had enough of waiting and just left. Now I've been to this hospital before and normally they are top notch. I would ask them to do a better job for next time.

I have been a patient of the dental department of Generations for at least two years now, and I…read morehave been so disgusted with their terrible bedside manner, between the hygienist and other staff members, outside of Michelle and one dental assistant. The front staff never apologizes to you for long wait times in line, often for 10+ minutes (once for 25 minutes). And though it may not be their fault if there are several patients in line, at least be kind to them once they reach the front desk. Plus, ensure there is more than one staff member upfront. In addition, the hygienist, Terri, has absolutely no personality, and it is so uncomfortable lying there for almost a half hour during her cleanings. Recent update: On May 12th, I went in for a cleaning, and the dentist came in for a basic checkup. I had a slight chip on my tooth and kindly asked if she could file it down. She impatiently said that she needed to make it quick, as she had another patient. Yet, I was her current patient who was treated like a number. Not to mention that the job only took a few minutes. I could tell it was such an inconvenience for her, and it made me feel so unvalued. I went from a high income earning and private insurance to receiving SSDI and state medical insurance. Unfortunately, though, I have no dental insurance, and therefore, have to go to a clinic that offers a sliding fee scale. Otherwise, I would NEVER go to Generations.

Terrible. This Hartford HealthCare clinic in Willimantic CT has disregarded appointments,…read moredisrespected patients, and failed to deliver samples to Hartford Healthcare Windham Hospital for test results. We can walk from the clinic to the hospital but the clinic can't have samples delivered effectively. On multiple occasions the attending medical staff inexplicably prioritized fair-skinned patients regardless of condition, appointment, arrival, or even check-in. Apparently personal bias decides who's seen next. When asked any questions, the medical staff get belligerent and call the patients "combative" (code to justify hostile actions) while provoking confrontation with rudeness & disrespect towards patients. Front-desk staff are kind and professional, too bad the patients can't get such consistently good service from the medical staff. Be fair, do better. Our lives depend on it.

We went to HHC in Willimantic and I was given an appt with Beth Cheney. At first I was skeptical about having an APRN for a primary care, but there was no doctor available at the time. I have been with Beth now for 5 years and when I call and cannot see her, I am skeptical going to anyone else. I have come to trust Beth with anything regarding my healthcare. She has referred to me people that she has had personal experience with, with her own family members. I ended up needing open heart surgery, literally trusted her with my life for a referral. I continue to dwell on her advice, I know she truly cares about me. At one time, I needed immediate assistance and she took care of everything while I waited, making sure I was seen and taken care of.
