The open MRI scanner(open on both sides) is much better than the closed narrow scanners. Depending on what they need to scan you may not even need to have your head in the scanner, or you may be able to turn your head to the side and look at the wall in the room. I highly recommend attending one of you are a parent-to-be trying to decide on a pediatrician as it was very informative. The doctors are excellent. I have been impressed with their willingness to answer all of my questions thoroughly and with their ability to always make my son smile and feel comfortable. He has seen four of the doctors so far and each encounter has been of the same excellent quality. The wait at the end of the day can be on the lengthier side, but it is convenient that we schedule appointments as late as 4:30 since my husband and I are both teachers. There front desk calls with appointment reminders and his appointments, vitals and vaccine records are all easily available to us through an online portal.
