I showed my nail tech a photo of the nails I wanted for the wedding I was attending and she did a great job! She really helped me pick the correct shade of pinky nude that I was looking for, and made sure I liked it as well. She kept complimenting the design I chose which made me feel very good about my decision haha. She was super sweet and I had a great experience overall. Definitely will be coming back! There were a number of folks with appointments coming in for nail and wax services. It was "hip-hopping" in there! Lol I talked to a couple of customers while we were sitting under the fans. I was curious if they were regulars and if they had tried other nearby salons. Both told me that they had tried others but always came back to HipHop Nails. I just got the pedicure done today. I went to get it fixed and they charged me $7 for a new nail (I call that out because they don't do fixes for free). The second time it was 3 nails so I complained and they did them for free. The third time I had 2 nails pop off within 4 to 5 days after my appointment. I didn't bother going back! I went to a new place today and was told that it's because the person who was doing them is doing them super super THICK that it leads to the whole nail popping off. The shellac has air bubbles on three nails, the colour density is inconsistent and I had to reshape my nails once I got home.
