When it was time to board the airboat we met with our Captain Steven who was friendly and gave us the safety check of the boat. The airboat was fast and the cool air felt good! It wasn't long until Steven stopped the boat and spotted our first big gator, probably a 7 footer!. Steven was knowledgeable of the area. Steven spoke about the gators, plant life such as the many lotus plants and local birds! We saw a total of 3 gators that morning. But the best part of the morning was Steven showing us Bandit their baby Gator! Overall we had a great time with Crazy Gator Airboat Tours!

However, this ended up being amazing for our whole family. We booked online, and upon arrival we were welcomed into the office to complete waivers and check in. They handed us colored wristbands and had us wait out on the deck. While waiting, we were greeted by another kind couple selling homemade lemonade and treats. The conversation was so welcoming and friendly. We then met our captain/owner, who was so much fun. One of our daughters was nervous and one was excited. He hyped up the excited one while also easing the fears of the nervous one, which meant so much to us as parents. Once we boarded the boat, he went out of his way to make everyone comfortable and explained everything thoroughly. The tour itself was incredible. He went above and beyond showing us not only the lake, but all of God's beautiful creation around it. Beyond the gators, we saw bald eagles and their nests, egrets, so many birds, fish, snails, cows, goats, and so much wildlife. We will 100% be back. Such an amazing experience and so much fun for the entire family. Highly recommend!

Summary: Good selection of cars but poor presentation…read more The first issue we had with the museum is that it was difficult to tell where the entrance was in the midst of the busy Dezerland Park building. Confusingly, a lot of cars are spread around the building outside the actual museum. Many of the cars presented are heavily modified; some of these are from movies and TV shows, and others are, well, just ridiculous. These won't be of interest to serious auto buffs but others may find them entertaining. The best part of the museum involves antique American autos and cars from several other countries. Unfortunately, the presentation of these leaves much to be desired. Some are stuck way back behind the ropes where you can't see them well. Most cars are not properly identified, except by small stickers on the windshields, and most of the stickers are written in ink that's faded to the point of illegibility. Some cars don't even have the stickers. A few stickers have incorrect info (such as "AMC Metro" for "Metropolitan"). Sometimes cars are just in the wrong place -- i.e., American cars in the "Israel" section, or a German car in the "France" section. There's also a replica (badly dented) of a rare Tucker car, implicitly being passed off as the real thing; whether there are other cases like this, I'm not sure. The most potentially fascinating, but ultimately frustrating, part is the Microcars room. Some of the museum's most rare and obscure cars are here. But there are two levels of "shelves" along the walls where many microcars are placed as if to emphasize their smallness. The cars above floor level can't be seen well, and in most cases there's no way for a visitor to tell what they are. These cars, especially, should be easily seen, with signs giving the make, year, country of origin and other relevant info. Overall, the place feels less like a museum than like a storage facility that's not well organized and is running out of room. There's a general sense that the people running the place don't really care that much about the cars. As a result, the often poor presentation is potentially a major letdown for visiting auto enthusiasts.

Seeing real artifacts recovered from the ship is an incredible experience, and the exhibits are well put together. The staff was friendly, and the museum was clean and well maintained. Like most tourist attractions in the Orlando area, it can get expensive, especially for a larger family. Also, if you've been before, don't expect to see many changes. I didn't notice any new artifacts since my last visit, so it may be more of a one-and-done experience unless they announce new additions. That said, it's absolutely worth visiting at least once if you have any interest in the history of the Titanic.

A great and unique way to see the Disney Parks A 2017 report…read moreindicated that eight helicopter tour operators were authorized to fly above Orlando's tourist corridor. This particular company has two locations operating in Orlando. I stopped by the northern location with a plan to take the Disney parks tour that I had seen online. I found that the pricing structure was designed based on flight time. This means that, since those parks are close to the southern location, it is cheaper to drive to that location and fly out of there, the southern location. I did just that and drove to the southern location. The store is located near the intersection of Vineland and Regency Center Drive. The office was immaculate and nice. You sign a waiver and they explain the safety briefing. You need at least 2 people or you have to wait for another person unless you want to pay for both seats. As I said I took the Disney package tour which gives you a great view of all the Disney parks from there. This location is the best place to take this tour for the decreased price. If you want to see the northern sights I would suggest going to the northern location as you will get more for your flight time. The pilot was very friendly, knowledgeable, and competent. The flight was about 15 minutes. It was excellent and along the route, the pilot did a great job of pointing out the various sights and answering my questions. The view is wonderful and the flight was fun. I would recommend this experience to anyone who wants a unique once-in-a-lifetime event.

What a beautiful day we had out on the Peace River looking for sharks teeth and fossils! Patrick…read morewas patient, very thorough, and took meticulous attention to safety conditions, but maximum yield on our findings! The perfect combo for locating the good stuff. Patrick took the extra time to really make it fun for our two 7-year old boys also, which made the day even more rewarding watching the excitement and wonder in the kids. But honestly the excitement and wonder was not lost on any of us adults either. We found SO many awesome teeth! One of our crew lost his carrying box with all his fossils and Patrick spent the last part of our trip swimming the river trying to find it for him. We didn't find it, but Patrick gave him all of his fossils he spent all day finding. It wasn't a drop in the bucket either, I'm talking pieces I've never held in my hand before.
