When we arrived, we were impressed with the play areas--there were several fun options for younger kids, especially ages 1-5. The structures were well suited for the age range but I could see any child older causing frustrations for parents of younger kids. The space itself isn't big and the littles have lots of age appropriate items. This locations definitely had different play items than you'd see at other places of similar interest which was cool - and I liked the way they made use of the space by having play areas under the slide and higher areas. Great spot and has a good amount of seating for parents to watch the kiddos play. I also loved that the infant area was completely padded to provide a safe environment for the crawlers and walkers. To save time, fill out the online waiver. Bring socks. We look forward to visiting again.

The kids have a great time an I have seen how my nephew , who was once very shy, really build confidence and is more friendly and chatty than before. Classes are 45 minutes long and they go through several different activities through the duration. They prioritize water breaks, instructions and give awards/achievements at the end too. Dr. Hays was a faculty member at Barry University's School of National and Health Sciences for twenty-four years while working as a Ft. Lauderdale civic activist serving on many city advisory boards. Dr. Hays passed away in 2009. The 2.49 acre park is located off of Riverland Road in Ft. Lauderdale, It is open daily from 6 AM until 9 PM. Park amenities include a walking exercise path, open play area, pavilion with picnic tables, grills, benches, and a very nice shade covered playground. Since it is a civic park there is a grove of trees at the park entrance that have plaques commemorating the volunteer efforts of community members. Although small the park is very nicely maintained is perfect for taking the kids to play, a picnic, or just getting some fresh air and exercise.

I came with my two kids (3 and 6), my parents, my brother and his family (1 and 6) and my high school friends and their kids (9 and 12) and EVERYONE had a blast! The key was to get there early so you could enjoy all the attractions without the lines that form as the day goes on. We found loungers right away, grabbed tubes and hit the lazy river, and after a few relaxing laps, we headed for the splash pad. My 3 year old didn't leave there for the rest of the day. He was completely enthralled with all of the splash features, water slides, and fun that surrounded him. The water was just deep enough that he could float around on his stomach but not deep enough to ever be too worried. The older kids and myself hit the big slides, which were a blast. For a small waterpark, these were solid. The design kept you on your toes and they picked up enough speed to give you a little rush. They have an onsite cafe but they also allow you to bring in your own cooler, which is amazing! We packed a picnic and had a great lunch as a group. The one pro-tip I have is to book a FUNBRELLA! We thought about it too late, but these shaded pavilions are perfect for groups and reasonably priced so you don't even need a special occasion to get one. Sure I remembered it being much bigger, but Paradise Cove delivered!
