I went to this traffic school to add my domestic partner's name to my car title, but they informed me that paying taxes and having a smog check were necessary. I informed them that DMV form 256 states that I am not required to pay and undergo a smog check. I called the DMV while I was getting my smog check to inquire about the sales tax issue. The DMV stated that there is no tax required for adding someone to my car title. The DMV stated that they are unsure of the reason for the traffic school giving me that false information. read more

To be honest, I didn't know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. The course they offered was very informative and appropriate. I have been driving for 35 years and I still learned a lot from it. I'm in Alaska so you may run into similar situations which is that Alaska law mandates that online training be verified by an individual. So when taking the final exam, you will need to go into a UPS store or the library. The person there will need to verify your ID - this is NOT a scam (as I first thought) - this is a process but well worth it, as you'll have to do it for any online course you take. These guys were uber professional, very responsive, accommodating and came up with solutions to get me through the exam. GREAT EXPERIENCE - if you have to go to school. I needed to attend online traffic school and this company was wonderful. The test was appropriate and although I passed - whew - it allowed repeat testing and go at your own pace. Reasonably priced. The best part was their customer service. They kept me updated on the court filing and when my traffic school receipt was filed ( there was an issue with the slowness of my court processing not with the traffic school) the traffic school was easy to contact via email and they were always efficient and on top of things with their replies. The traffic school mangled my first and last name, reduced the amount of the coursework I had completed by several percentage points every time I logged in, and failed to accept my mother's year of birth as the answer to a security question, although it had been entered correctly initially and as that answer. Just a terrible experience, with highly questionable and unethical business practices.. purely a money grab from the very start. The curriculum is poorly designed, poorly written, multiple-choice quizzes and tests throughout have nothing to do with evaluating the learner as the responses are ludicrous. When you finally get done and pay you have to pay additional to have access to a completion certificate, you pay the same for an electronic version as you do to have it delivered and they still make you wait the same amount of time, prompting you at every step to upgrade to same-day delivery for the electronic. Had to reach out to customer service because their communication of my completion via email said they would be sending me my completion certificate to the mailing address but said it was via electronic. Speaking with their customer service they didn't actually answer the question, they just kept restating and broken English that I could upgrade to the same day electronic delivery. Needed to do this for a defer a lot of traffic citation but if you have an option to support local a highly recommend it. Everything here is an upsell, it's like walking through a cruise port and hawker stands trying to sell you low quality gold. read more

I got a ticket for going over 65 in highway 4, and if most drivers were going over the speed limit, I got the lucky ticket My first one EVER after driving for over 40 years. I definitely don't want the smudge on my record, so I signed up for this traffic school my husband recommended (he's had a few tickets...) This driving school is moronic. Dont get me wrong, I didn't miss a single answer on the final exam (a monkey could pass that test). But it seems so concerned with ppl fraudulently taking traffic school for others like its the SAT and we're all the mom from Full House that you spend most of your time and focus not on the important rules and materials, but inane details like "ok what colors were all the cars?" in the diagram or "what color was the mans hair?" because it won't let you move on unless you get these hyper specific zero relevant information questions right. It also forces you to watch totally outdated videos from the 90s that look a lot like the ones from my pre-cell phone days HS. Really? You guys cant get content thats less than 25 years old? The website layout also loos like it was built by a child...in 2003. Oh and just after they've taken your money they force you to provide a bunch of very personal information to be used as "verification answers" or you're SOL. Really did not feel safe giving this private info that could be used to hack other accounts of mine to some rinky dink 3rd part TS site, but they'd already taken my money.
