Checked out Gobi for Mongolian grill for lunch during the week. The restaurant is clean and comfortable, with many booths and tables. The Mongolian grill area has a great selection of noodles, rice, veggies and proteins. Everything seemed nice and fresh. I was impressed that tilapia and octopus were options. There's a small list of appetizers to choose from, so we tried veggie spring rolls. They were decent. We both enjoyed our grilled meals very much. The dessert selections were excellent, especially the layered orange dessert. We will be back!

$20 for both Mongolian grill and AYCE hotpot for lunch is definitely a good deal for the experience. The hotpot was good but nothing special. But I'm giving 5 stars because this place has some of the best and juiciest watermelon, honeydew, and cantaloupe I've ever had at an AYCE place. Whoever is picking these melons is doing a great job!

My friends and I were really excited to try this new hotpot spot since there aren't many good ones in the area, so we had high hopes! The place itself is super cute and clean, which we appreciated right away. The prices are also quite reasonable for AYCE. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. Even though it's hotpot (where you're cooking your own food), everything came out really slowly. When we were ordering, the waiter actually stopped us and said, "That's enough," and only brought out one small plate of meat... for five people. We were hungry! The whole experience felt like they were discouraging us from ordering more, which was frustrating and kind of awkward. It also took a while for them to come back and take our second round of orders, even when it was obvious we'd finished everything on our table. One of us tried the Mongolian stir fry, and it was disappointing. If you do get it, make sure to load up on sauce, because the noodles soak it all up and it ends up tasting bland. Overall, despite the cute vibes and potential, the service and pacing made the experience less enjoyable. Giving it 3 stars for now, but I might give it another shot. Hopefully it was just an off day or they were understaffed.

Gobi Mongolian Grill & Hot Pot ,so good! Soft opening was yesterday, located on Junction Road. We tried both their hotpot and Mongolian grill, and it was incredible, A fantastic blend of both worlds. We got the Tonkatsu and the Kimchi for the broth combo, and they were both so good. Super bright and cool decor, very clean! Staff and owners are super friendly and kind, they recommended the most amazing drinks Located at the former Huhot and next to Gloria's, they're open for both lunch and dinner. AYCE, Lunch is just $20 on weekdays and $30 for dinner, an amazing deal honestly.

It's nice to see a Mongolian grill open in Madison. I went on a Saturday afternoon. There was a good crowd, but I got a seat right away. $20 for unlimited lunch was a worth deal. You pick egg, protiens, veggies, sauces and carbs and hand over to grill it. Once ready it will be brought to the table. I went for 2 rounds of grill. In table there was a list of appetizers. I went for some of them as well - edamame, fried sesame balls, spring rolls and potstickers. They were all good. Also there were fruits and other dessert items. Ice cream was of low quality (defenitely not Madison quality). Rest everything was excellent.

We had the AYCE Mongolian Grill, and it was great! There were so many things to choose from numerous veggies-even whole steaks, pork chops and different sauces for your meal! They also offer all you can eat appetizers with the meal. Loved the fried potstickers!! The atmosphere was pleasant, and the wait staff was attentive. Would definitely go there again!

We were so excited to find a hot pot place near Middleton! Upon arriving all the staff was SO nice and the ambience was very relaxing. The music wasn't too loud (I loved that). We had huge menus with different meats, veg, etc. and we ordered with the waiter. I was so impressed to find out that the mongolian grill is INCLUDED with our hot pot price. ($29.99 for dinner) We didn't try the mongolian grill because we were sooo full. The sauce bar had a nice variety. They have Pepsi products. For my Dr. Pepper people-- SUCH a perfect fountain dr. pepper! My husband and I even enjoyed our ice cream on the way out! Thank you, Gobi for such a delicious and filling meal at a reasonable price!!!! Please go support this business!

Mongolian Grill with pork belly, beef, and lamb.

Absolutely delicious and fantastic value! They have beef, pork, pork belly, shrimp, multiple kinds of chicken, and for the dinner portion, lamb and scallops. Food quality is great and the servers are very helpful and nice. Pictured is the Mongolian grill option. The way this option works is you go down the buffet line and add the base (rice or noodles), vegetables, and meats / tofu you want, then you pick your cooking sauce and seasonings. They cook this for you and deliver it to your table. Additional sauce, desserts (including ice cream), and appetizers are free. They even have shrimp cocktail w/sauce included. The value is great, $20 for the dinner/weekend Mongolian grill option per person and $30 for hot pot. My partner is a vegetarian, and she had a fantastic experience as well with having tofu as her protein. I strongly recommend you check out this place before the line is out the door. Extraordinary quality and fantastic value!

While they were busy, the service was so friendly and smiley- it made for such a fun time. Although they were busy, through a quick smile and usher to a table, somehow my sister and I were convinced to sit at a table with two other customers. While it was odd sitting at a table enough for six people with two strangers, we felt comfortable enough to have our own separate conversations because of the hustle and bustle around us. We ordered a plate of the housemade cat ear noodle four color vegetable. The vegetables could've been cooked through a bit more but their sauce was perfect for the dish and the noodle texture complimented the rest of the dish. We did think there might've been a higher ratio of noodle to vegetable which made for a heavier meal, so balancing those two could've been nicer. You'll definitely receive a large portion of food here- no fear haha Parking is available around the side but during peak hours definitely packed. They have free wifi!
