Throughout the years Learning Time has had multiple Directors but the one who really stands out is Ms. Alex, she is very thorough, communicative and caring. My daughter knows all the teachers and TA's. Ms Dolly, Ms. Berna and Ms. Evonne have all been really critical parts in my daughters growth at this Daycare/School. I'm 100% satisfied either the care this school provides. I can tell they really value all their students and parents.

I made a trip to the location, it was dark, doors locked but someone was clearly there. I used the call button and again, no answer. Went back to my car and dialed there number as listed on building and still no answer. I really wanted to give this location a try but as a parent, their lack of responsiveness is unacceptable.

I was charged 3 times by an accident !!!the day care asked me if I wanted to let them keep the payment and they can just apply it to my daughters account, I denied and requested my funds back. just a side note this was the week after Christmas and the week rent was due. I drop my daughter off that Monday and when I picked my daughter up at 6:00pm I asked them if I could pay them on Wednesday when I get paid due To my money getting mishandled and getting charged 3 times. i also went on to add that I was a single parent doing this on my own so a hiccup on charging me 3 times by a accident is a huge deal! After talking with ms Shakira she informed me that it would be fine for me to send payment on Wednesday morning and I can continue to bring my daughter so I can work. I get a call from the same teacher on Tuesday morning at 7:00am stating that I can't bring my daughter in until they receive payment ! This was horrible for many reasons 1) I got informed of this at 7:00am I work at 8:30 this daycare opens at 6:00am I talked with ms Shakira at 6:00pm that previous day, if I couldn't bring my daughter in she should of let me know when I had that conversation with her.instead she gave me reassurance that it was okay for me to pay on Wednesday. the way this was handled was completely unethical and caused me to miss a day of work. if i was informed of this the night before when i had the conversation it would of been totally fine I understand it's a business and it needs to operate in a way that works for them. But the fact that I was told it was okay and then the next morning I get a last minute call saying I can't bring my daughter in until I pay was really inconvenient and display a manner on not having any morals

Now in toddler years, my son began to be able to articulate the horrors of this school & I have since pulled him out. Teachers have called other kids ugly & the words he came home with were inappropriate&offensive. When asked where he gets this language from, he says hears it from the teacher. The teachers have told my son they are not his friend & made him apologize to them constantly; but then told them they did not forgive him (I'm still unsure why he always owed them apologies bc he is a typical 3 yr old). He watched excessive television/YouTube videos during the day (he legitimately knows every cartoon character even though he does not watch these shows at home), he demonstrated aggressive behaviors (ex: grabbing my face and saying "you look at me right now!" and yelling at his stuffed animals& making them sit in a room by themselves for "timeout" during free play at home), he came home everyday like he barely ate at school, and the final straw was when he said the teacher was so angry at him and hit him on his head for having an accident on himself. When this information was brought to the director's attention, she was very nonchalant & could care less about what my son experienced. She offered no resolution and insisted my 3-year old son was essentially lying on her employee. As long as you make your weekly payment, the director does not care about your child's emotional welfare & will gaslight any of your parental concerns. I am a certified GCPS teacher who works in the education industry and this place misses the mark of quality care& education. I would NOT advise any parent to leave their child(ren) at Funday Academy. Read the reviews, trust your intuition, & spend the extra money on a facility that will respect, love, and care for your child.

Was not given a quality tour and was rushed and asked if I had any questions when I was only there for 30 seconds. It's a really pretty pink flower but the roots are very invasive underground and would definitely help with erosion. It would probably not take very long to cover all that dirt. The hillsides would look beautiful covered in pink flowers.

First things first was the tour the young lady was able to take me on a tour to see the 15 month old room and provide me with a information on what i might need for my child well being in the classroom part of there recommendations such as a the basic , diapers , wipes , a change of clothes and a blanket pretty simple if you ask me. Then i asked her a few more questions not all that she could answer but she did her best. I'm interested in finding out more about the daycare but unfortunately it's also some kinda wait.
