Was a year where they had to fix screw ups, so here we are 5 years later and those same shingles blew completely off the roof and they Winfield Homes say "OH yeah that happens, wind, act of God". You need to get that fixed on your own. When I told them it was the same issue within a few months of occupying the residence did they say "OH, I will call my boss and find out"? They only called us back because their supplier called them with the issue! Well heck never received a call back. So having an independent roofer come look that isnt associated with this builder and if they find the roof itself is an issue then there is going to be one heck of a problem. Oh by the way have a warranty on the roof so what does a roof warranty mean exactly? Because my warranty and who done what from Winfied homes says shingles has a 15 year warranty. So answer me this 5 star review winfield was does that mean?? And stop paying to remove my reviews that is just sketch in itself!!!!

This was our first build and we were pretty clueless on a few things with home building process, but with these 3 guys and their professionalism and expertise it was truly a great experience and we couldn't be happier with the way our home turned out. The quality of the build is exceptional and the best I've seen in a very long time. He said he would send me the information but never did. I emailed and called him 6 - 8 times over the next 6 weeks but never heard anything from him. Now I'm working with Atlas Roofing Company directly. Hope they will provide a warranty. I would have given a 4 star rating if he helped get me the warranty info. Moral of the story - don't pay the bill until he provides the warranty information.

The wallpaper removal was smooth, but the paint was not covering to his satisfaction, so he made adjustments to the sheen and used a different roller to get the results that satisfied him - and us. He charged the higher end of the quoted price, but had to apply an additional coat of paint and go to the store to buy a different sheen of paint. Looks great!

When we wanted a little work done on our new house, our realtor recommended Larry (the L of L & S…read more-- S being for his wife). And boy, am I glad we listened to her, because Larry is a real find! He was happy to come out to the house even before we closed on it to look at the kitchen and discuss what we wanted done, and all his quotes have been bang-on -- if he says it'll be $107, it'll be $107. Larry did a great job making room in the kitchen for a dishwasher, taking apart an existing cabinet and creating a new one out of those materials. If I didn't know what he did, I'd never guess. He also installed and ran the necessary lines for our new appliances, including our weird cooking sink, which works great. Larry put up a nice privacy fence in the yard, including an interior access-only gate, which frankly, is just what we needed, and quite clever. Everything he does, he does right -- a simple job of replacing our bathroom fan with a model that includes a light became a little more complicated when he discovered that the fan hadn't been vented properly to the attic. But no problem, for just the cost of the additional materials needed, he took care of that. So if you need any kind of carpentry, kitchen, or general handyman work done, I can't recommend Larry highly enough. He's been great, and we'll definitely be calling him for more work!
