She sent me to have three teeth removed. While I was waiting for those sites to heal I lost the tip of another. I went in to have the tip repaired and she also did purely cosmetic fillings on the outside surface with the warning it might not last. She was right. It didn't. I paid over $800 for a gloss that fell out after two weeks. It's been a year now and the tip repair has fallen out, too. I had a partial plate with six teeth built for almost $2K. I can't wear it. It gives me a speech impediment. She said, "Oh, just read the newpaper outloud." There is so much plastic I can't find my alveolar ridge to form an l, n, d, or t. There is even plastic on the back surface of the upper front teeth, that I can't form an Italian l either. I'm a voice professional and must be able to perform in Italian, French, and English as well as demonstrate to my students. The only positives about the office are the delightful woman in the front office and the very healthy croton that gets morning sunshine through the window. Avoid at all costs. I have spoken with others who unanimously share my opinions, but they don't seem to register reviews here.

I couldn't understand, as my wife and I had been seeing this dentist, in Ithaca, for many years! I was in terrible pain, for days. I contacted Dr. Whipple's office based, on his existing rating. After describing what my issue was, the staff at Seven Valley Dental, arranged for me to see the Dr., in less than an hour and a half. That is unheard of! Amazing. The Dr. helped with my dental issue, prior to a prearranged appointment with an oral specialist, later that day. My general dentist did NOTHING to help me! Again, I have no idea why not. I contacted the office three (3) times, about my plight. Awful! My wife and I are seniors and need stability and assurance that our dental needs will be met with understanding and compassion. Dr. Whipple and his entire staff at Seven Valley Dental provided that for me. I understand that this review is my own personal experience. It doesn't even have that awful dentist office smell! I was pleased with the way Dr. Whipple explained my dental issues and what the appropriate treatment would be. Be aware that they don't perform root canals in office, but refer you to an endodontist, which can be good or bad. For me, it's inconvenient to have to go to another office (hence the four star rating), but there's certainly nothing wrong with having a specialist do the procedure. I plan to have my routine care at Seven Valley Dental from now on.

The office staff and hygenists have always been helpful and courteous. I have decided that I need to travel for most medical appointments but I am happy to say that Dr. Ioset is as good or better than any dentist you will find in a big city.
