She explained what to expect before our appointment, answered every question we had, and somehow made an impossible day feel just a little less overwhelming. When she arrived at our home, her calm, gentle presence immediately put us at ease. She never rushed us or made us feel like we had to move on before we were ready. She walked us through everything with so much care and respect. One of the things that meant the most to us was that she wanted to know about Lenny. She asked about his personality, our favorite memories, and all the little quirks that made him who he was. Being able to laugh, tell stories, and celebrate his life through our tears made saying goodbye feel so much more meaningful. I've loved and lost pets before, but this was the first time I chose in-home euthanasia. Looking back, I wouldn't do it any other way. It was worth every penny. Lenny was able to spend his final moments at home, surrounded by the people who loved him most, and Dr. Luanne made sure his passing was peaceful and full of dignity. I wish there were more than five stars to give. Thank you, Dr. Luanne, for caring for Lenny with such kindness and compassion, and for giving our family the time and space to say goodbye the way he deserved. I had to make kind of a last minute decision to put down my sweet 14-year-old boy Lenny. I had originally called another service who unfortunately wasn't available, but thank goodness their provider network is extensive and they were able to help me get in touch with Dr Lu at Pet Medical Transport. I was able to get a same day appointment after getting in touch with Dr. Lu. And providers like her are why I think I will always choose at home euthanasia because the kindness, warmth, understanding and general support while also being able to make sure that your baby is comfortable, not scared, and surrounded by the love and things that make them comfortable is priceless. Dr. Lu showed tremendous compassion, and gently walked us through the process with my Lenny during his final moments. It was peaceful, and I appreciate that Dr. Lu didn't push us for time when we were saying our goodbyes. I have immense admiration for doctors in this kind of field, because they help carry the weight for you in that moment. At least I felt that Dr. Lu did.

I was able to reach them early in the morning on a Friday to see if they could accommodate a last minute request for the weekend. They went out of their way to fit me in and sent someone over that some morning to meet my cat and getting everything set up. This was my first time using a pets sitter and I was really impressed and greatly appreciated their willingness to fit me in on such short notice. The meeting went well and we agreed that the pet sitter would visit once on Saturday and once on Sunday to check on my cat and box turtle. I left around 1pm that same Friday and returned Sunday evening to find that the pet sitter had not visited while I was away. Upon calling, I was told that the pet sitter had forgotten to come over and care for my pets. The pet sitter that I spoke with was very apologetic for the mistake, but I was still very upset to come home and find that my cat and box turtle had gone without food since that Friday when I left. Thankfully I had left enough water for both of them and they turned out to be alright. I really appreciated the effort that Fetch Pet Care made to accommodate my last minute request, and I felt that the pet sitter was very friendly. The pet sitter was also very apologetic about the mistake, but ultimately I do not feel that they fulfilled our agreement to care for my pets.
