The Owner and her small staff are on a mission...to provide a service to women (primarily) who are entering the job market and need assistance in putting together a career wardrobe. Nearly New's clientele qualify and are referred to the shop through the Human Services Department (just behind) and have encouraging, enthusiastic assistance from the welcoming staff in pulling together an interview wardrobe and more. This is what I call true community service! 2. Though a primary goal of the business is to provide assistance to their referrals, the shop is open to everyone and I have found many great items ...a mustard-yellow Coach belt, Chico tops and bottoms, a Banana Republic knit pencil skirt. They have jeans, jeans, and more jeans along with other casual wear, so not just career wear. Shoes and boots around every corner, too. There is a 50% off sale on occasion, based on the influx of donations. Speaking of donations, the quality is superb, considering this is not a consignment shop. Thank you, all of you generous and apparently successful career women who donate gently used clothing to Nearly New...you're the best! 3. You gotta love the creaky old house Nearly New calls home. The clothing and shoes are tastefully displayed and everything is clean. There are multiple rooms sectioned by clothing type and size. And they also have a small men's section. 4. And last but not least, Nearly New is located within walking distance of The Range Café.
