It's rare nowadays when you find a business that is family run with old values and you will find it…read morehere! My (now) husband proposed to me in October of 2021, and unfortunately, I told him the wrong ring…read moresize. We live in Pittsburgh, and the jeweler he ordered it from was a small business in Michigan. We frequently visit Boardman, and since I needed to get sized, we googled jewelers and came across Aebischer's. We were greeted as soon as we walked in, and even though it was about 30 minutes before closing and quite busy, we were helped within 3 minutes. The saleswoman was so kind. Despite her knowing that my ring wasn't purchased at Aebischer's, she still treated us as if we did. She gave me multiple options for sizing, and was kind enough to give me a new temporary ring sizer. I had bought a pack at Walmart and it was cutting off the circulation to my finger, and by her attaching the new sizer, it was instant relief! She even gave me another to take home.My husband was talking cars with another customer, and the rest of the staff was out and talking with us. They were all so friendly. We had such a great experience! While we were there, my husband decided to check out the mens selection, and we were given the website information for customization. We had to find out any warranty info, so we left and waited to hear from the place he ordered my ring from. Our original Jeweler said it would void my ring warranty, but we said the heck with it, and drove back up the next weekend! Even with covid causing backups and our move in January 2022, we got it back very quickly! I decided to get the 2 small balls , as they were more comfortable. When we got it back, they trimmed them up and it was perfect!!! That same day, my husband even ended up purchasing not 1, but 2 custom bands. We've been married almost 5 months now and his rings have held up amazing- even with him working so much with his hands as a System Admin! He gets complimented all the time on the uniqueness, and has utilized the silicone bands that came with them daily. We cannot praise Aebischer's staff for their patience, friendliness, and professionalism.

TL;DR: Buy at your own risk as store will not take responsibility in case something goes wrong…read more On July 11 2022 I took my Citizen Skyhawk Blue Angels Edition for a battery change: the LCD was getting faint, but the watch was still fully operational. The tall blonde wearing a blue outfit took it back and did the battery replacement herself. It took a while for her to come back out (a total of about five minutes), but when she did she apologized for not knowing how to set the watch, and handed it to me when I told her I knew how, and would do it myself. As I walked away from the counter, I looked at the watch and realized I did not recognize what was displayed on the LCD: it was gibberish, and it wasn't responding to any button presses. I turned around and told her there was something wrong with the watch, as the LCD appeared "frozen", or "crashed". She took it, pushed the buttons randomly, then said she could put it in the work order envelope for "Bob" to take a look at it tomorrow. I suggested she take the newly installed battery out and put it back in again, in hopes the procedure could possibly "reboot" the watch into working order (I'm no watch technician). She said she'd give it a try and went back to do it. A few more minutes passed, she came out, and the watch was still in the same condition: LCD frozen, displaying gibberish. I gave my info, she wrote down the problem on the envelope, and put the watch inside for Bob to take a look at it tomorrow, and he'd give me a call about it. I left. On the following day, around 1pm July 12, 2022, I called the jewelry store since I had not heard from Bob yet. A woman picked up the phone and I asked for an update on my watch. She went to talk to Bob and came back on the line saying he was looking at it but he "didn't know how to set it". I replied that setting the time/date/zone on the watch wasn't the problem: I knew how to do it, but the LCD was frozen the day before after the battery got replaced, so the watch wasn't responding to the button presses at all, and that was the issue. She went back to Bob to talk some more, then Bob came on the phone. Bob said he didn't know how to set the watch, to which I responded with the above statement, repeating myself calmly. Bob became defensive and said "you brought the watch to get a new battery, so it wasn't working before". I told him the LCD was just faint when I brought it in, and that it was clearly visible that it was fully operational. He replied with "there's nothing else to do on a battery replacement: you just take the battery out and put another one in, that's it". I told him "I don't know what happened, but the blond woman took the working watch back, did whatever she did, and when she brought it back out, she handed me a watch that wasn't working anymore. Are you going to take any responsibility for it?" Bob said "No." I said "Ok, I'll stop by to pick it up shortly." and hung up. I got to the store about 15 minutes later. Bob (tall, tanned, muscular guy) was holding my watch and motioned me over. He said "Look, I'm watching a YouTube video to figure out how to set your watch." I was about to repeat myself yet again about how "setting the watch wasn't the issue: I knew how to do it myself" when I looked at the watch, and the LCD was now working normally. I pointed it out to him, and said: "Hey, the LCD is now working: it wasn't displaying this and responding to button presses yesterday, and that's what I've been talking about." Bob said "Oh, she didn't push the reset buttons inside after she replaced the battery yesterday." Clearly the whole thing could be chalked up to a misunderstanding. But here's what I have a problem with this whole incident: what if the employee who exchanged the battery actually had damaged the watch? I would've been out of a $400 watch, and have to pay additional to have it fixed. Buy jewelry or seek services at your own risk: something goes wrong, you're going to be on your own.
