I've always had an open mind to Reiki but never had the chance to try it and WOW I'm so thankful I got the opportunity to have Symona guide my first session for me! She provides the most welcoming and tranquil experience I could of ever asked for. Her presence alone is so calming and warm that there's absolutely zero way you won't absolutely love your experience with her. The overall atmosphere just feels like such a safe place and the minute you're greeted you feel as though she is your lifelong friend. The actual experience with the Reiki was mind blowing to me!! I didn't exactly know what to expect first going in but after Symona explained in depth to me what the session would entail and the different things I might feel or experience throughout it, we got started and the ONLY downside of it all was that at some point it had to end. Never in my life have I ever felt so grounded and calm and truly at peace. When the session was over I honestly felt like I was floating out of my body, it was WILD in the absolute best way possible. Tucked away in the coziest, bohemian-esque nook of a sweet nook, you feel right at home as soon as you walk in. A mindful and informative breakdown of what your appointment will look like kicks off the time, then it's to the table you go! Soft, instrumental music playing from a speaker lulls you, while the familiarly comforting scents of incense and palo santo paint a nurturing mood in the room. I felt oh so relaxed that I nearly fell asleep, with an eye mask over my face and a fuzzy blanket covering me. Symona encourages you to "just be," which serves as an undermined reminder in today's age. Connecting with her really reminds you to slow down; that it is more than all right not to be "on" all of the time. The session itself seems so quick perhaps because of the calm atmosphere around you. She also offers both hands-on and hands-off style of reading your energetic channels, which is thoughtful for a teacher who wants the best for you. What I also appreciated was her nourishing language throughout our conversation. I matter of factly inquired which chakras of mine were blocked, to which Symona mentioned that nothing is in fact "blocked," the word itself suggesting that an area of the body and mind cannot be healed, when it can. Any and all of us can improve. My solar plexus and heart chakras were the most effected, yet she softly urged that that is not to say they will always be that way. With Spirit is one special spot for chakra-balancing and healing, what with such a caring mentor leading you through the experience. This dear healer has such a gentle persona and talks to you as if you were a lifelong friend rather than a "client" or "patient." She truly, authentically cares about one's sacred self and their mission to improve, and you can read that through her clearly. Nearing the end of the time, she suggests to lay for a couple minutes to let the reiki integrate, which is when it ends all too soon! What a sanctuary of peace and quietness she provides; you don't want to get up! If you are looking for a time-efficient, serene, and thought-provoking way to wind down and tune in, turn to With Spirit. Again, you can sincerely tell that this one of a kind healer works with her heart on her sleeve and pure compassion. I've had plenty of expeirence working with other reiki healers, but what sets Jenny Bee apart for me is that I can really FEEL her from hundreds of miles away. Doing sessions long distance with her has proven to be profound and to me, that speaks volumes to her abilities. I work a very cerebral job as a research scientist, and my mind is often going a million miles a minute. When I had my first session with Jenny, I was feeling overwhelmed about everything I had on my plate to finish by the end of the day. We dropped in and I immedately felt a wave of calm wash over my body. My mind went from chattering and worrying about my projects and to do list to peace. After a few minutes, I felt myself going into a trace-like state; no talking, just energy. It was like I was floating on a cloud, sunbathing in the most healing light.
