He sized my finger, then he went and showed us a variety of rings and had me try on ones i liked the most and set them all aside to make note for my boyfriend when he goes back. I had been in the store several times and they have a beautiful selection with decent prices. I came across my ring and it was actually on clearance. When I inquired why it was on clearance the sales person told me it was mostly due to its uniqueness and the fact it is yellow gold which is not incredibly popular. The ring is rather unique and does not necessarily look like a engagement or wedding ring even though it has a huge solitaire center stone. After much negotiating my husband finally took me on Valentine's day to look at the ring. I tried it on and flaunted it to him. They took my old set as a trade and my husband paid under a grand for the ring, the sticker price was around 4k but the whole clearance thing dropped that drastically. I called our insurance company to insure the ring and the appraiser actually valued it at $4500.. not too shabby. My husband has also purchases a necklace and charm for me from there. The sales staff are friendly and attentive. They are not pushy and do not try to get to "open an account" to save a little more. They also stand by their jewelry, my sizing was free and when one of my kiddos accidentally broke my chain they fixed it for free. Anniversary time is right around the corner so naturally I am hitting up the hubby for an anniversary ring... preferably a LeVian ring, but regular diamonds will do as well (just in case you read this review.. love you! mean it!)
