We have had several custom pieces of furniture made for our home by the talented folks at the pumpkin patch. The quality and durability and, of course, the beauty of these pieces are unmatched. We would pay twice as much to have anything custom made by a Carpender in the Detroit area. (I am not exaggerating. We had something designed and priced out.) The similar pieces we found in retail stores were either more expensive than prices at the pumpkin patch or were neither as beautiful nor as well-made. If we lived closer, we would get more of our furniture from the pumpkin patch. The desk/dresser made for our son will last him a lifetime and hopefully become a family heirloom. They are made from pressed wood, fiberboard and other cheap material, not real wood. The difference between that chair and the Best Home Furnishings recliner I got from Larimer is night & day. I went back and bought a 2nd chair from them. I was again treated well and paid less for a much better chair. Only negative is with supply shortages it's taking longer for special orders. This is an industry wide problem, Larimer has no control over this at all.
