We were told that the headboard was currently in-stock in their warehouse (in Wisconsin) and the dresser was being restocked on the 6th of October. The owner stated that the items would be shipped together and should be in the week of the 6th. We had been searching for a place where it wouldn't be a 3 month wait to get what we needed to furnish our new home, the owner knew this.. He stated it "definitely wouldn't be that long". We placed the order with the complete understanding that we would have the items in early October. He said multiple times that "if I don't call you, its not in yet...no need to keep calling", I found this an odd thing to say after we had already made the purchase. We called on October 9th and he stated "nothing yet, will let you know". Needless to say, the weeks in October ticked by. I was giving him the benefit of doubt that maybethings were taking a little longer. My husband called on October 26th and asked him what was going on, as its been well over out quoted date. The owner then swore up and down that he would never have given us a time frame for when the items would be in. In the same breath he also stated it would be another two to three weeks. For someone that "never gives timeframes" he gave us a time frame for the second time. It is now November 19th and the items are still not in. We called again today and he was like a broken record repeating the same crap as last time. He miraculously was able to find a headboard for us that he "accidently ordered". How he can accidently order something and get it...but our order never came in is beyond me. He stated that he would have to charge us a "restocking fee" if we canceled our order that we have been waiting 2 months for. I would never allow that since the item never even shipped, there is no restocking fee. He ended up giving us the display model off the floor. I am so thankful to be done with this place and their crooked practices. It is obvious they will say anything to make a sale. I am so glad I won't have to listen to him blame COVID for delays and tell us that he is just "so busy" when there is never anyone in the store the times we have been there. STAY AWAY!
