Sometimes these types of beers can be pretty sugary and be a bit much. But that wasn't a problem with Huckleberry Honey Ale. Yes, it was sweet. No doubt about it but it wasn't it's dominant feature which was great and made this fruit beer a fun one to drink. Flavors to play around on your tongue with this beverage are sweet, fruity, honey and subtle. The subtle is probably the mechanism at play where nothing comes off too heavy handed , making the flavor profile well balanced. The beer is light bodied which is great as the summer time temps crank up the thermometer the light bodied beers are most appreciated.

It's the only drink we had there before leaving to stay at our hotel. With everyone there we were busy talking and catching up with old friends and I forgot to close out my card. Sunday was Father's Day, and even though their hours were posted that they are open Sunday's at 11am, no one seemed to be around. No other notes posted on the doors about not being open for the day. We tried calling to see if anyone was inside but nobody picked up. We were traveling to Idaho Sunday and would be coming back through the next day so we figured we would just pick it up then, considering they were closed and would probably be open again after the holiday. When we stopped to pick up my card they didn't have it anymore. Yet they were able to charge my card for $16.50. Things that make you go hmmmmmmmmm? When I told the bartender working that was strange because I know for a fact I didn't close it out and left it with the bartender working Saturday, she asked if I wanted to leave my number. I frustratedly started walking away and replied, "No, I'll have to cancel it now because it could have been stolen and I know I didn't close out." She responded very rudely with, "Well we will try not to spend all of your money." For someone who works in the service industry I don't think it's even remotely funny to joke about stealing someone's card and I could not believe how utterly rude she was. Losing your credit card brings on a lot of stress. Maybe it got wedged in the till or fell behind something, I know cards are slim and can easy get lost. Yet, the fact that she actually responded with, "Well we will try not to spend all your money," doesn't make me feel safe that I left my card open with their staff. Not to mention, I know they had it because they used it to close out my tab at the end of the night. Very rude and unfriendly.
