I've been wanting to try this since it opened but had received mixed reviews. My family was in…read moretown, so we decided to try it. The place was packed on a Sunday and a 1.5 hour wait for a party of 8. Everyone was super friendly and accommodating! We sat in the back dining area and they made a table for 8. Let me start with the drinks, the chai espresso drink MUST GET. Best alcoholic beverage I've ever had in my life. My friend and I both agree and had two each. They have a nice variety of breakfast, with healthier and smaller options. The prices are decent, definitely city prices. I had the shakshuka, which was phenomenal but wish there was an option to add more meat. The portion was huge and the sourdough was delicious. We all enjoyed and I'd definitely come back!

Not worth the price point. The café is beautiful and very aesthetic inside, but I was disappointed…read moreby the cleanliness. I arrived right when they opened, yet several seats still had crumbs on them. The service was quick, though not overly warm or welcoming. I also found it odd that the drink menu is printed separately on paper instead of being included on the main menu--it feels less polished than the rest of the space. As someone who eats plant based, I'd love to see vegan items clearly labeled on the menu and at least one more substantial vegan entrée option. I ordered the Powerhouse Overnight Oats for $22. They were actually quite tasty and surprisingly filling. However, at that price, I expected a little more. The chia seeds were dry rather than fully hydrated, and consuming dry chia seeds on their own is generally discouraged because they absorb liquid after being eaten. One final suggestion: please include menu prices on your website. It makes it much easier for customers to decide before visiting.

Occasionally Steve and I are on the lookout for mead for a change of pace from all of the craft…read morebeer we drink. And as the craft beer industry is very noticeable in it's shrinkage in size from the past year or so distilleries, meaderies and wineries may be something we will need to explore more frequently as well. Hidden Legend was a winery or meadery that I haven't tried before and I was instantly drawn in to it. Discovering new places to me is always exciting and keeps thing interesting for me. For Hidden Legend, Steve and I had their Apple Mead Cyser which was an apple mead as indicated in the title and in flavor it had a very noticeable presence of that fruit. It was almost like a cider as we kept it chilled like a dry cider but had the thickness of a mead which put a fun spin to the flavor profile. And of course the presence of honey was detected also like you should expect with a mead giving this particular mead a pleasant and natural sweetness. A very nice change of pace was achieved here and feel like a revisit of their other mead options should be in order.

Seppi (owns an amazing nearby deli) guided us to the Super One nearby where they carry the Montana honey mead. It was such a treat! Honeysuckle and thyme notes. Perfectly pairs with Seppi's meat and cheese box for a picnic at nearby Lake Como.
