As we…read morespoke we had established that my husband and I had already had the very same private insurance that this company offers and works for. I expressed to him that we were not happy with the insurance as the amount of sick and well checks that they allow, what they pay out and what they leave you with is terrible. I told him about our experiences with the insurance as well as our agent, whom which hasn't communicated with us (and until today, we didn't know that she was no longer with the company). He asked me for her information and I gave him her name and phone number. He said that he would look into this and was apologetic about our whole bad experience. He wanted to see what else he could offer us and I told him that the insurance would have to be awesome for us to even consider it since we are jaded about everything with the company as a whole because of all of the stuff that we've been through. I gave him the basic information about my family that he needed in order to get us a formal quote as well as my e-mail. I then told him that I would discuss with my husband over the course of the next couple of days. He understood. We hung up the phone and I didn't expect to get anymore phone calls today, from that office. Then, his manager, Rebecca Privette called me and the conversation was extremely unprofessional. She was pushy about getting us to get insurance through them, she insisted on meeting with us TONIGHT, I told her NO and that I needed to speak to my husband about it, she then pushed more and said "well, we can still do this and I can contact you around 6:00 p.m." and I still said NO because as business owners ourselves, our business hours aren't over until 6:00 p.m. and it's likely that my husband won't be here until then. She STILL PUSHED and insisted on doing this at 7 p.m. and I STILL said NO because that's not giving me any time to talk with my husband and just like everyone else, we'd like to have dinner tonight. The entire conversation was aggressive. She did not listen to me about my experience and responded ignorantly. Had she have listened to me, she would've known not to say what she did especially about the vision insurance. She was disruptive the entire time and I told her that "I didn't know that I wasn't going to get a chance to speak". She proceeded to gaslight me and tell me that what I was experiencing with the insurance wasn't true which stemmed from her not listening to begin with. I told her that this was terrible and hung up the phone. If she is the one that sets the bar for the level of professionalism and moral (or for lack thereof) in that office then, they are in serious trouble. She exudes unprofessionalism and doesn't set a good example to follow. DON'T EVER COLD CALL ME OR MY BUSINESS, ACT IGNORANT, NOT LISTEN, ARGUE WITH ME (THE PROSPECTIVE CLIENT) AND EXPECT TO GAIN MY BUSINESS.

Common sense !!! I left Allstate and came back to State Farm due to $$. Savings. Big Mistake !!! I…read morehave 2 properties, 2 vehicles. They wanted to inspect one of the properties. No problem or so I thought. Inspector found 2 shingles that were damaged. No worries, it was fixed. He also said there were limbs over the roof on the detached garage. A metal building, 2 garage doors. Simple enough. All issues were resolved. Turns out this Idiot was talking about an old shack that has a massive oak tree growing through it. It's about to fall over. It's uninsurable to say the least !!! They canceled my coverage on my Hill Country Residence due to an Idiot Inspector. When I spoke to him on the phone, his speech was slurred. I should have told him to get off my property and wait for me to be there. I didn't. It took an act of God to get State Farm to realize their mistake based on the information from an Idiot Inspection !!! A few days later I get a check in the mail for my cancellation. I paid it for a year. I take the check to the agent's office to return it. They wouldn't take it. They said I had to deposit it and then pay em again !!! I did. I paid it for six months. I'll be moving all of my insurance to USAA or anybody besides State Farm. But Wait !!!that's not all. Both vehicles have this drive safe beacon. They track your driving etc etc. You get a discount. Ok, I'm in. One of the beacons was defective. It took an act of Congress to get my agent to order us a replacement. It finally arrived. I downloaded it, and it's working fine. Today I get a text message saying I owe them $21.00 for not using one of the beacons. I sent a message saying telling them where they can stick that $21.00 !!! State Farm is not a good neighbor !!!! Ever since coming back to the James Pearson Agency, my life has been through pure hell. They send an old wino out to inspect my property. He tells the company that I am trying to pull a scam by trying to insure a rickety old shed instead of the new metal building that is my garage.. the garage wasn't 65 feet right in front of your eyes. Unbelievable !!! This is the most messed up agency I have ever seen in my life. State Farm is just as bad !!! I hope I never need them because I know already what will happen. Go somewhere else !!!

I decided to do some more searching on my own and found statefarm to be cheaper and have more coverage. We changed coverage to statefarm. The statefarm agent asked them to cancel our service. Linda Sexton told him that we planned to make many claims and advise him against insuring us and they did not cancel our travelers insurance. We ended up on the phone for hours trying to cancel this service because they did not cancel it. Beware they are deceitful and liars and I have the bills and emails and everything to prove it.
