From the friendly and prompt service, to the food that's always great (and really well-priced, especially compared to Wu's which is absurdly overpriced), China Palace does it right. It's without a doubt, our favorite lunch spot on the South side of town... We eat there a couple of times a month. Aside from the food, the owners "Kim and Yung" are some of the nicest and friendliest people you will meet in the industry - They always come and talk to all their customers and thank everyone for the business. I don't understand why she acted like that, but she won't be seeing me again. I now go to the China Wok restaurant in LaGrange, and it is unbelievable how different it is. First of all, when you order beef and broccoli, the container is completely full, and there is a large amount of beef...they don't skimp on anything on their menu, and it is prepared perfectly! When our family would get beef and broccoli at Super Chopsticks there was very little beef with the meal. The outside at China Wok isn't the fanciest, but the inside is immaculate. Also, the carryout food at China wok is placed in a bag with a thick liner so that it doesn't leak. Lastly, the owner always greets you with a smile which is appreciated.
