Not only is the studio clean and nice. It's the instructors, so knowledgeable and helpful. They truly know what they are doing. They have our best interest at heart. They have over the last year incorporated other classes besides Bikram, like inferno hot Pilates, and variations of the classic Bikram 26&2 class. Those I cannot speak to because I'm a classic Bikram gal. It those classes seem to be very popular and full! So others must enjoy them. I see others reviews that put down how hot it is and how rigid the instructors can be. It IS hot, it's supposed to be. There a reason for everything they do. Trust the process. When I practice Bikram regularly not only does my body get fit, it's detoxifies and my skin looks younger! I'm in my 50's and no one believes me. I feel like when I go to Bikram yoga I get a work out, I am stretched, I get a facial, and I detoxify. All in 90 min. What else can do that all in 90 minutes!! Nothing. If you're on the fence about it try it at least 5 classes. Then make your decision. Don't do one class. My best friend made me try it years ago. He told me try it 5 times before I quit. I called him after my first class and said "I hate Bikram and I hate you for making me promise this!" After class 2 I didn't hate it. After class 3 I liked it after class 4 I was hooked. It has changed my life and if you trust the process it will change yours too.

After that, I tried a Pilates class, and that's when I truly fell in love with the practice. I took afternoon classes with Tessa or Cheryl, they are both incredibly sweet and supportive. I took advantage of the founding member unlimited package option and haven't had any issues with scheduling. All of the classes are at level 1 and 1.5 since they just opened, but it's been shared that they will continue to assess and ask for feedback so level 2 classes will be layered in the schedule. In the meantime, the level 1 and 1.5 classes truly help with keeping the proper form and getting familiar with all the equipment. There's been a few check-ins and they've asked for feedback which you can tell they take seriously. My favorite classes have been are the Cardio Sculpt 1.5, Saturday morning Reformer Flow classes with Brianna are always a treat, and Trinity's 6am classes have been consistently great. Overall, I'd recommend and looking forward to new levels when they're ready to introduce.

However, the classes I need have become much harder to book at the times that work for me, and the studio is also a bit of a drive from where I live. I was already planning to switch to the Manteca studio once it opens, but I didn't realize that I would need an All Access membership to attend different Club Pilates locations. Because of that, I decided to cancel my membership at the Tracy studio. I understand that the membership agreement requires a 30-day written cancellation notice. I prepared a cancellation letter, printed two copies, dated it July 26, and personally delivered it to the studio on July 27. The employee at the front desk told me there was nothing she could do and that I needed to send an email instead. I explained that the cancellation policy states the notice must be in writing, and I was aware that my membership would continue through August 27 because of the 30-day notice requirement. I asked her to simply sign and date my extra copy of the letter as proof that I had delivered it. She refused, saying she would make sure the appropriate person received it and that someone would email me. As of today, I still have not received any confirmation that my cancellation has been processed. It's disappointing because everyone was very helpful when I was signing up, but the cancellation process has been frustrating and lacks communication. This experience has made me question whether I want to sign up at the new Manteca location, even though I was looking forward to it. Oh and I also sent an email.
