My wife and I are repeat customers at Golden Gallery Chinese Restaurant (next to Aldi towards the surf side of Bribie Island) because we've found the service to be very friendly and efficient, and the food tastes great! I absolutely LOVE the chicken with cashew nuts.
We always dine in. It's fun to have a chuckle at the tacky 1970s decor and even tackier saxophone muzak playing in the background (including one song that sounds a bit like a sax version of "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus"). But this is all part of the charm.
FYI: This is a BYO restaurant. So make sure you get yourself some nice beer or wine from a bottle shop beforehand.
Golden Gallery has less dine in customers than the other Chinese restaurant on Bribie Island so it's always a relaxing and intimate dinner. The lady who greets us and serves up the food is very friendly and happy.
We're big fans! read more
