However we got the room facing the street and it was very noisy, especially at 4 AM with the street sweeper. There was a roach that I killed on the stairs the day I check in and it was still there the day I checked out two days later. They also went into my room unannounced while I was gone and did construction work, got plaster residue all over my luggage and clothes when they were working on the air-conditioning drain line and didn't say a word. The Inn is run down and in sore need of refurbishment. It was over priced for what I paid.

There is also a beautiful sitting room in which the wireless Internet signal is strongest (it doesn't work in all of the rooms). Not far at all from Glebe Point Road, the location of most of Glebe's shops and restaurants. All in all, a wonderful stay!

While the weather was a little fikkle, the house and the facilities including the staff was just wonderful. It is the perfect guest house in any city. Great for couples. Romantic for some and just lovely for all. I can't recommend this house more highly tusk to say that we all loved it and are already planning a return trip. Just perfect in every way. Great place. We used my room for a number of meetings which worked out great, except... for the catering. Both their in-room dining and catering services left much to be desired. For dinner one night I wasn't feeling well so I stayed in and ordered a burger, it was a sad rendition of the American classic. Also when they'd catered our coffee one morning they brought us a large French press, enough for 3-4 cups, fine for one person, but our group of 10 looked like they might attack if we didn't get a quick refill... which came 20 minutes later.
