The manager Greg went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable and safe. The bathroom and rec-room were clean and well-equipped (the rec room had a very nice kitchen which I was free to use). There was a laundry room as well. I definitely felt like I was glamping.I was invited to join in activities and made to feel very welcome. The tent site was clean and level and had shade and a picnic table. The RV park itself was quiet but the road was busy and could be noisy at times; nevertheless I slept well. There were birders and butterfliers there who helped me plan my itinerary when I asked and were generous with their knowledge. The resort even had a bird walk area. It's very close to a beautiful state park and a superb butterfly garden. I highly recommend it!

The activity director goes above and beyond trying to have as many activities as possible for everyone. Yes, for active residents there is pickleball, horseshoes etc, there are also many many activities for mobility challenged individuals as well, card games galore, crafts, glass adventures, rock shop etc. This is the only park I know of that has activities every single night in the summers so permanent residents can stay busy year round should they choose to. Agreed there are water issues and management changes but that's going to happen anywhere. Overall, could not be more pleased to call Bentsen Grove my home.

The serenity you get is unbelievable calming to walk at all hours of the day or night being able to here all types of birds, cricket chirping. The safety surroundings you feel made us extend our time:) We were dealing with some very difficult circumstances with my mother in law, every time we would pull up to park we would immediately feel the tranquil we so needed. BUT it was a homey place to stay, the pool and spa were immaculate and kept that way and the funky tiki bar added character. Beautiful landscaping in the small pool/tiki bar area but less lush elsewhere in the park. Very big lots compared to the parking lot style RV parks nearby and included picnic tables and patio area in addition to parking for your vehicle and RV. Clubhouse is the only wi-fi zone, and the wi-fi there is just so-so. On-site manager went WAY out of his way to accommodate us - turned on the spa when we were the only users, found us a carport the evening a hail storm was predicted. We paid a third of what we paid at a nearby RV park last year.

We had a really great time at Seven Oaks Resort this winter. Large, level sites with wide, paved…read moreroads made setup a breeze. 50-amp full hook-ups made our stay comfortable. And all of the other "Winter Texans" we met here at the park were fun and friendly! We had a lot of fun participating in group events, exploring the area... and just relaxing by the pool (which was needed after too much participating in group events and exploring the area, LOL!). We'd definitely come back here!
