I surprised my man with a couples massage for his birthday. We wanted a Thai massage but it seemed that they have a more standardized massage they do for clients. They did have a nice atmosphere and seemed relaxing. Another helper mentioned they are not complete separate rooms and are just dividers which is correct. So you can here others which can be a little distracting. The hot stones were nice. The massage was too light and even when asking for it harder it was still mild. After the massage asked about Thai and more deep tissue and she mentioned that she did not offer these services because of limited requests. The price was fair and she did not over charge in my opinion. Overall she is very nice and the place is clean. It was relaxing and great for those who like a more mild to medium massage firmness. read more

Waste of money. The massage therapist spent at least half the time massaging the back of my ankle and lower leg. Then she spent more time lightly rubbing my back in swirls and feather light touches. She obviously decided to do as little work as possible and then she had the brass to whine when I actually tipped her $20. (I was being nice). I've had hundreds of massages in my life and this was at the top of the worst massages I have ever experienced. This being said, when she whined about the $20 tip I couldn't believe what I was watching. I reached in my wallet and pulled out another $20 (making it a $40 tip for the worst massage experience of my life) and she seemed appeased. If you go to this place after reading my review I certainly hope you have a better experience than the one I had. They got their money but I will never go back. You have been warned. read more

As a massage therapist, I'm always on the lookout for quick, foot massage places. This one is close to home and reasonably priced. Had a foot massage a couple of times (basically, you're entire body but clothed) and full body sessions. Just know going in, this place has rooms with walls that don't connect to the ceiling, so you will hear noise. Personally, I don't have issue with that. The rooms and massage areas are clean and they follow covid protocol. If you are looking for a 'great' massage, this is not the place. Just being honest, it's okay. When I need some relaxation after a long day, I go here. Most of the time the owner works with me, but the last visit, I had another person. It was definitely a more 'you put the lotion on your skin' kind of session. If you want deep pressure, call ahead and book the owner. Been going here 8 months and sitting on writing a review, which was a solid 4-stars. They lost one because the therapist I had added a $10 tip to my credit card after I told her no, because I gave her cash. I always give cash tips vs credit card. That was disheartening when I saw my debit card statement. Also, know that they would like you to 'level up' and get the 60 minute body/30 minute foot massage instead of the 60 minute foot massage. Sometimes it feels a bit pushy (not rude), just stand your ground if you only want the foot massage. read more

I just had a massage and they got me right in which was awesome since I had hurt my back. She was so nice a gentle and then as she worked the hurt side she asked how the pressure was and when I said it's feeling better and maybe go a little deeper, she did just that. So kind. Glad I read the reviews about them climbing on the table- she did climb next to me and that great as she was able to utilize more pressure evenly with her arm. Very kind. The place was peaceful & serene feeling. I will be back! I only did 4 star because she did leave (to get the hot stones and again to get the hot towels), but didn't say that's why she was leaving- she just left and I was wondering what was happening... hahaha but they were both worth the wait! Periodically I get back spasms, and in typical fashion I exhaust my home remedies and treatments before I hobble into Golden Massage Spa--now the only place I'll go when I can't walk. The pain in my back was so bad I couldn't stand upright, and for 90 minutes the therapist worked (mostly fought) with my 6'3'' 220 pound frame. While walking on my back she was pressing so hard I thought she was going to push through the roof of the building as I could hear the walls and ceiling flexing! I can't express how grateful I am that they are skilled enough to be able to help me when I was twisted up so badly. The store is super clean and relaxing, as are the curtained rooms. The staff are friendly, responsive, and genuinely want to help. I can't thank them enough and give them incredibly high marks. read more

How does this have 4.5 stars? I booked this place for my wife on her birthday to begin her relaxing day. I booked for 1 hour mix body and foot massage. When she got home I was excited to see how it was but she was actually really sad and let down. She said it was a horrible experience and and was really sad about it. For starters she said it was incredibly cold in there. Was not comfortable the whole time, she was shivering. Then she said she could barely even feel any pressure on her back and feet, like they were tracing her body lightly with their fingers and a light bow push every once in awhile. They left her backside bare a few times which made her really uncomfortable as well. Do not go here. They are not legit at all. Waste of time and money. read more

Honestly while it was nice to have a couples massage with my boyfriend in the room, I was constantly taken out of the ambiance of my massage. 1st the woman who massaged me climbed over me a couple times which made me uncomfortable. 2nd she used a lot of bone and most of this massage hurt even though I consistantly asked for less pressure 3rd and maybe the worst was that she left to answer the phone 2 to 3 times during our hour session. Overall I would say you get what you pay for. It was fairly cheap for both of us and I didn't expect a quiet room with burning incense but I guess I still expected a little more service than I got. This was my first experience at getting a massage and I feel that it was a relaxing experience. Granted there may be some places that are better and some that are worse, but Golden Massage Spa seems to be a good value for the price. The woman who gave me my massage read my reactions to the massage and adjusted her pressure accordingly. It was a calming environment and was nice to relax for an hour. It wasn't really a massage... we basically paid to have oil rubbed all over us. Initially, they ask for how much pressure--I said hard, which I didn't get at all even after I asked again. There were also inconsistencies on both sides of the body. For example, rubbing the sole of the foot on one side but not the other? After not receiving an actual massage, the decision was to not tip extra after the $120 charge. They decided to run outside after us expecting a tip even after we explained why we were unsatisfied. What sucks even more is my quad and IT band are now aggravated and in pain AFTER the "massage" needless to say I will be watching my bank statement for shady charges. read more

I called Golden Massage Spa at almost 7pm on New Year's Eve to see if there was any way they could get me in for a 1 hour reflexology foot massage. The lady who answered the phone happily said that it was no problem & told me that I could come right over. I arrived about 10 minutes later. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the woman who answered the phone. She escorted me back to my room & asked me what temperature I wanted my water. I have been to dozens of reflexology spas and never once has anyone ever asked me about my preferred water temperature before. When my therapist, Amy, brought the water it was perfect. I put my feet in the water, laid back, & relaxed. Amy massaged my head, neck, face, arms, & hands before massaging my feet. She was very attentive and made sure that the pressure she was using was comfortable for me. It was! Just when I thought the massage couldn't get any better, Amy started on my feet. She used an exfoliating scrub/lotion rather than just plain lotion. It made the massage even better. The scrub wasn't really gritty, but it was gritty enough to feel great. It was honestly utter perfection! Amy finished my massage with a rub down of my back. I can't say enough positive things about Amy & the Golden Massage Spa. They exceeded my expectations & I can't wait to return for another massage. The only thing that I will do differently next time is I will get a longer massage (90 or 120 minutes).
