Here I am at Chabill's in Houma having my brakes changed on my Silverado just two weeks after it left Golden Motors. They had my truck for four weeks after salt water got up into the wheels. Insurance paid for their "work" and when I picked it up I was told everything was fine and good to go. Yesterday I heard the left rear brake grinding. I brought it to Chabill's and they told me that there was nothing left of that brake and the other brakes were about to end up the same way. You would think after having my truck for four weeks just so they could clean out and check my wheels and brakes, they would've advised me that my brakes were worn out before I left the lot. I have found Golden Motors service very unreliable. I have owned Chevrolets ever since I could drive. Golden Motors has shown me I need to drive an extra 50 to 100 miles just to find a dealership with good service. Because that's where I'll buy my next vehicle. read more

Extremely disappointed in this dealership. I drove 1.5hrs out of my way to come here because they assured me they could offer me a rental. 2.5 hours of waiting later I'm leaving in my car... no rental. Watched them offer another guy a loaner and when I asked about it the lady said they were church friends with the owner so the owner made an exception. I feel lied to and my entire day was wasted. They took no accountability for the misinformation they gave me and essentially made it out like it was an error on my part. FYI the nearest rental place is 30mins away and they don't offer a shuttle. $50 for an Uber. How do people normally get there when they drop off their vehicles I asked the manager. I've had to pay out thousands since the months of purchasing the vechile, all new tires, brake pads. They lied about the mileage on the paperwork. It is running so bad that I will have to replace the crack in the windshield they hid with a sticker. read more

Bring my car in for a simple oil change and get it back with no ac check engine light on and most of the car function stopped working and this is an expensive car!!! Never bringing it back here ! Who takes an entire day just for a simple oil change? read more

I have never had such an enjoyable experience buying a car as I've had today. I visited another Chevrolet dealer before our scheduled appointment at Golden and while our salesman was very nice, as soon as the manager came out, everything felt forced and you could cut through the sales pitch with every breath they took. Basically, a car buying experience you've come to expect. Not at Golden. They were so friendly, genuine, and straightforward. I hope we don't need a new car for a few more years but I'm almost looking forward to returning when we are ready, even if a Chevy isn't the car we're after! Thank you Lexie and family. We purchased three vehicles over the last 12 years or so and this report pertains to a recent routine service for oil change and tire rotation. We utilized their Shuttle Service as in the past and the driver Ms. Vickie was courteous, professional and respectful of our needs as she has been on the past occasions when our vehicles required maintenance. The staff at Golden Motors always has a smile on their faces and greet you every time you go to the dealer for service. We have had several dealings with Golden Motors and have been disappointed everytime. The service is extreely slow for vehicle maintenance. We took our car there to have several warranty items repaired and when we went to retrieve it a week later, nothing was repaired. We were told all the parts were on order. That was over 6 months ago and we have still not heard from them. This is a 2009 vehicle. So we filled out a survey on their poor service and when I went to them in person to ask about the parts, they literally confronted me about the poor survey I filled out on them. Apparently they have chosen to use the rule; "we have the right to refuse service..." on us. It would pay to drive to Houma for service on Chevy's. If we could rate them a zero we would. read more
