I treated my sister and cousin to (my sisters first gel manicure) and my cousins first gel pedicure for my cousins wedding last Friday. They didn't have a wait... and so they started my cousins acrylic manicure. That looked good. But they did her pedicure and I talked her into gel because she had never tried it, well she might have gotten better longevity if she would have stuck with the regular polish because it's MONDAY AND ALL OF MY GEL has come up on the edges and it took me about 2 minutes to peel them off. So it lasted 4 days. They left my cousins big toes super slanted... not even at all. The girl next to me complained that the lady cut her toes too short, and then the manager offered acrylic to fix it (but then wanted to say it was extra) and then the lady had to explain that it was bc the lady cut the toes down too short. Then the lady moved to me. Shit, She rubbed lotion on my legs. No massage. Like maybe two strokes each leg. And she started cutting my ingrown toenails out but was pulling them and pulling them allllll the way down into the toe root. It hurt so bad. I asked before she started to do a gel French tip pedicure... and showed her a photo of how I liked them square and even... (not rounded at the sides) and when she put the white on my toe looked like the top of a soda bottle where my toenail was wide and the top was substantially more narrow. So she also had to do acrylic on my toenails to build back what she had cut. They then half assed my manicure as a gel polish and charged $30 for it. Said I didn't need a manicure my nails were fine. They just wanted to not lose the service because I was about to leave without doing my hands. The color I picked wasn't the same as the color she tried to put on. She tried to argue it was the same but I didn't like how big the glitter flakes were in the one she put on. So she went and got another one that was a little better. so then upon checkout they tried to charge an extra $8.00 for my cousins gel pedicure like they did mine for the French tip and it was embarrassing to have to call them out about it and also about the toe and the glitter polish. Don't make me have to speak up and be an asshole... because I will... So all in all, my poor sisters first ever manicure in a salon had three coats of shitty paint and I'm sure has also fallen off by now...they did a sloppy job on that, and just all around weren't great... and now that I'm seeing the other reviews I'm concerned about getting a fungus also... I'm sure if I contacted them about my nails not lasting they would not provide a refund. So I'm not even going to try. -also if this helps my credibility at all I'm also a licensed cosmetologist in multiple states trained in nails... so I can see when things aren't being done correctly- STAY AWAY! DON'T SUPPORT THIS NAIL SALON!!! $20 for a polish change!!! Not even gel polish!!!! Regular polish and all he did was change my color. I will NEVER visit this establishment again!!!!!! Wish I would have followed my mind and went somewhere else!!!! The manicurist that did my 8year old cousin nails said she couldn't get a design because she had regular polish!! A lie!!! If I could select 0 stars, I would. I paid over $90 to get a gel mani/pedi, just to have the polish flake and peel off within 3-4 days. I called and spoke with the manager, Alex, who told me it was ok to come in on Saturday, since I work during the week. I told him I did not want them fixed there because the light burned my nails in the first place, which I didn't complain about at the time but didn't want to repeat, and that I would just like a refund and he said ok. I drove an hour just for him to tell me that he refused to give me my money back so I could get them fixed elsewhere. He is terrible and the service is not worth a single penny. Worst pedicure I've ever received. My sister in law, mother in law and myself went to get a pedicure together. The man who did my nails was on the phone nearly the entire time he was doing my nails or texting. The first chair they sat me in, the water was freezing cold and the water jet didn't work, I gladly moved to another chair and yet the water was cold again and they didn't even bother turning the jet on. The first chair I sat in had a cup of moldy coffee sitting behind it. The door that goes out back was open and all we could smell the entire time was cigarette smoke. The lady who did my mother in laws nails was so rough that my mother in law decided to not continue with the pedicure and not get any polish. The experience was just awful. We felt as if they didn't care about customer satisfaction at all. We will never go back to this store again. read more

Terrible gel manicure. $85 plus tip for pedicure that is okay and supposed to be gel manicure that is one coat!

Probably the worst nail salon I've ever been in. It was infested with flies and there were bugs in the bathroom. I was the third customer of the day and quite clearly they had not cleaned the bathroom from the work day before. The massage chairs were half broken. After my basin was drained, I noticed pink mildew around the drain! Hoping I don't catch some type of fungus... I give this a one star because my mani, pedi, and eyebrows do look nice, however, she did a horrible job massaging my feet, calves, hands, and forearms. All for a grand total of 49.00 plus tip. Me and my sister went up here to get our nails done, it was good overall, but then, when the woman told me to dry my hands. The towels had stains on them like they haven't been washed in weeks. The bathroom doors are scratched and the toilet is disgusting, I couldn't use it. It was horrifying. The nails were great though, nothing went bad with that. I honestly had high hopes for this place...its very lovely and from what I could see was very clean. The staff is what turned me off..the guy ,who knows what his name was as I was visiting from out of town and this place was recommended since the place that I would normally go was very crowded..honestly I should have waited!! I was offered a gel polish and politely declined..he and another guy spoke(in a language I couldn't understand) and that's when the *hit show began! It was literally the most unprofessional, very very bad experience..he didn't cut my nails down just filed and buffed for 10 seconds a piece. His polish was very sloppy and you could clearly tell he didn't care...I even went as far as to ask this jerk was he having a bad day and that he seemed to have a lot on his mind! Not great. Kept me waiting without turning on water for pedicure so my feet could soak. They don't use any soap in the water and seem to reuse the plastic linings in the tubs. Also high price of $45 for gel pedicure. They took off the old gel in three unnecessary steps rather than just using a soft drill read more

I really enjoy the services that are rendered by Golden Nail and Spa. The owner David and I have a great rapport. Along with his wife, their entire staff are nice. I can go in on any given day to have any type of services rendered during my lunch and will get out in a fashionable manner. Of course, you don't want to have 2-3 types of services rendered during your lunch hour because that would be impossible. I definitely recommend Golden Nail and Spa. read more

It started when we walked in the door We weren't even greeted and The woman doing my pedicure didn't talk to me at all, when she was clipping my toenails she cut my skin three times and she did a terrible massage!
