bought my car from this dealership about 5 months ago, and unfortunately it has been an ongoing issue ever since. Shortly after buying the car, I began experiencing problems with the traction light, then it was the engine light came on they just reset it, then it was the serpentine belt, then it was my passenger window motor, then the car started smoking really bad. Since then, I've had to bring the vehicle back multiple times for repairs, which has been extremely inconvenient and frustrating. Despite these repeated visits, the issues have not been properly resolved. I expected a reliable vehicle, especially so soon after purchase, but instead I've been dealing with constant back-and-forth and no lasting solution. What's most disappointing is the lack of accountability and urgency in addressing the problem from the sales person Tony from the Springhill location. Never returns calls back. Communication has been inconsistent, and Sam the manager in the shop in Hudson is very rude and pretty much said it's an old car you get what you get. At this point, I would not recommend this dealership to others. Buying a car should come with peace of mind, not ongoing stress and repeated trips to the service department. read more

Had car checked out by an independent mechanic who found a few things wrong with the car, but Tony put me through their service at 10535 SR 52 in Hudson and happy to say, Sam and Nick and their staff were very good and put things right, all covered under their 30 day warranty. I have read some of these reviews and experienced none of the issues listed here. I purchased a 2016 Ford Focus and think that Peter and Angel were very helpful and no pressure. I looked at many of the vehicles that were available (they have a good selection and all price ranges) and the buying process was fast and easy. I have purchased new cars every 3 years until I retired and decided to purchase a used car, something to get me around town. The vehicle was my choice and I looked at several different cars available and also different car lots/dealerships and came back to Golden Oldies. They helped me to stay in my price range and were not pushy like the big dealerships. Prices were comparable to pricing on Edmunds and other websites. The worst place to ever buy a car. told me the car i bought was perfectly fine. 6 days into having the car, both rear tires popped on me out of nowhere (they were excessively worn), a month into having the car the engine needs to be fixed. Oh and also, both front and rear brakes were at 25% when buying this car. Meanwhile, they told me it was good to go. Staff is rude and super unhelpful, and they are a bunch of crooks who want to take your money. NEVER BUY A VEHICLE HERE. SO UNTRUSTWORTHY. ITS NOT WORTH IT!!! None of their cars are under warranty, but they will LIE and say it is, just like they said to me. read more

They're a bit of a mess. We called and arranged to come test drive a vehicle. Drove 1.5 hours, go there and the car was missing. Someone had taken it to the other lot. Car eventually came back and we pointed out two concerns 1) dry-rotted tires, 2) convertible top leak. They apologized and said neither of those should have made it past their inspection department. They promised to provide an update on them being addressed so we could return and buy the car. Received an update on Monday that they would when the vehicle was finished with those fixes on Thursday. They called Thursday to say the vehicle sold Wed night. We had passed on 3 other vehicles since we were buying this one. I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 because they are nice guys, but they are in disarray and I would be hesitant to buy from them after the things that slipped past inspection and the terrible communication. read more

If I could give less than 1 star I would. My grandson bought a 2015 Audi in early 2022. He paid close to $30,000 for it. He has had problems with the car since he purchased it but, despite there being a 1-year dealership warranty, was told repeatedly "there is nothing wrong with this car," & his last attempt resulted in him being told "you're just looking for something to b____ about." He was shown an Autocheck report when he bought, which stated, among other things, there were no accidents in this car's history. WRONG!!! Acc. to Carfax the car had been in an accident & suffered extensive structural damage. He was offered less than half of what he still owed for trade-in at a local Ford dealership. Jump ahead 2-3 months & this vehicle is no longer driveable--it needs a new motor, at the cost of an additional $8500. If there's a must-have vehicle at Golden Oldies, INSIST ON A CARFAX report. To those who have been satisfied with your experience at this scam outfit, I'm happy for you that you lucked out. The rest of the story... I contacted them several times regarding the issue with the parts to fix my car and they were upfront on the problem with finding them. My fault. I gave up. I didn't go back to them as I was suppose to but ended up trading the car for a 2017 Jeep Renegade. Don't regret my decision. The gentleman at the Jeep dealer asked were I bought the car and stated the Golden Oldies has a great reputation and I agree. Thanks for your efforts to fix the car I bought from you.
