I contacted Hobgood Auto Sales and made an appointment to test drive. I had driven an older one and also the Equus however neither compared to this baby. As I arrived, there was a young guy outside waiting for me, this was Brandon, Brandon Hobgood the owner. I have to admit, I was caught off guard when he told me this was HIS dealership!! It wasn't long before we were out for the test drive of my life, he patiently explained all the features of the vehicle (I'm not listening, only loving my ride lol) To make this a very long story short as it was a lot of back and forth on the vehicle, not on his part, my part or finance, it just took the contracted auto shop sooooo long to do everything correctly to my specifications. I really must add this, Brandon did a lot of hand holding and even talked me down off my limb as I was very frustrated with the mechanics, Brandon acted as the Liason between myself and them, just a total professional. Most importantly, I did trade my car in and he made absolute SURE I was not left walking, just the opposite, I felt like a pampered customer, actually more like family! I seldom give 5 stars, you really have to work for it as I've always been an extremely tough critic! I have already referred him to several clients and family members, this man has earned my trust! He was not there, I immediately called him from my new number because as I mention in original review he blocked my old number so I couldn't contact him. Mr. Hobgood answered and I asked him to meet me with the proper paperwork that should have been given to me at time of sale, he told me "no" "he would email it" I said you have been telling my mom that for months and have not done it. I cannot drive the car until I get those forms! I paid $3500.00 and traded my Suv for a car that I cant drive because you didn't complete some forms and what was completed was done incorrectly. He told me" he would email me the needed documents if I took my bad reviews about him down", I responded that after I got the documents I would delete the reviews! To which he replied I could and I quote "F**K OFF" Unquote. He then hung up the phone, I tried repeatedly to call him back, which he did not answer my calls or my friends attempts to contact him. I went to the DMV near Mr Hobgood's place of business and explained my situation to one of the clerks there and two officiers and found that it is illegal the way he didn't file the correct paperwork and just because he claims he closed his business does NOT mean that he doesn't have to file the correct forms. All I want is to be able to drive the car that I bought from him, I don't think that is an unfair request. I WILL be posting more updates soon because legal and civil actions will be taken. After being recommended to V W Moters, I had my car towed to this company because it wouldn't start. The owner quickly troubleshooted and fixed my car within the same day. I required 2 new batteries and when I picked it up later that day, it started back up with no issues. The prices were also fair and reasonable compared to what a Mercedes dealership would have charged me. Fast forward a few weeks and I noticed my brakes were going bad and called last minute on a Friday for an estimate. Although closing within the hour he asked me to bring the car by for an accurate estimate. Turns out my brakes were so bad that they were metal on metal and he didn't feel comfortable with me driving off with my car in this condition. Since I have no other form of transportation I was offered a vehicle to drive if he could not get the parts in and car fixed by the following day when they close at noon so that I could get to work on Monday. Very grateful for this kind gesture but I declined since I live close by. My car was ready by 10 am the next day and again, the price was fair and much cheaper than the dealership. I highly recommend this family owned business. Everyone there is super nice and professional. The prices are fair. The work is reliable. I will continue to bring my vehicle here in the future for any car related issues as well as referring my friends who are looking for a trustworthy mechanic.

Absolutely terrible experience with Mi Pana Window Tinting…read more These guys were referred to me by Top Dog Mobile Detailing South, so I expected professional work and good customer service. Unfortunately, the quality of the work was shockingly bad and completely amateur. Immediately after the windshield tint was installed, there were two large bubbles in the film. They returned the same day to fix those bubbles, but that was only the beginning of the problems. Afterward, I noticed severe visual distortions throughout the windshield tint, distortion on the front passenger window, and even a small scratch on the windshield itself. The windshield became distracting and uncomfortable to look through while driving. The overall tint job looked rushed and unprofessional. I have had multiple vehicles tinted and ceramic coated over the years, and this was by far the worst money I have ever spent on any tinting or ceramic coating service. The workmanship was nowhere near professional quality. The windshield tint especially looked like an amateur installation rather than work done by an experienced company. When I contacted them about the distortions, I was told they would "go away in about a week" and that I should not park the car in the sun for at least four hours after installation. Nearly a week later, the distortions were still there, so I reached out again. Instead of taking responsibility, I was brushed off and told they had other appointments and would "get to it when they can." The following day I asked for an actual timeframe so I could make myself available, and without any notice they suddenly texted saying they were already a few minutes away from my house. I was over two hours away at work because no appointment or time had ever been scheduled. At that point the owner completely changed his attitude and started blaming me for their defective work. He falsely claimed I caused the problem by moving the vehicle too early and not following instructions. That is completely false, and I have video footage proving the car was never moved during the required period. Instead of standing behind their work, they chose to lie, deflect blame, and argue with the customer. To make matters worse, they then told me to personally remove all of the windshield tint myself, record a video of it, and only then would they consider giving me a refund. That is one of the most unprofessional responses I have ever received from a business. Mistakes can happen with any tint job. What matters is how a company handles those mistakes. Mi Pana Window Tinting showed poor workmanship, amateur installation quality, zero accountability, dishonesty, and extremely unprofessional customer service. I would strongly recommend avoiding this company if you value your vehicle or expect professional-quality work.
