And, since I was with the mother of my adoptive family (who was waiting for me in the car), I didn't want to take up more of her time than I had already. Finally, while the frozen dinner aisle looks well stocked, there's rows of the same item. :-( But, because this store is the closest store to me, I have to contend with this.

Unfortunately, not only do they NOT have Holiday Meals, they don't even have a Deli. :-( Since I didn't stop here for shopping, I can't say anything for, or against, the Customer Service. But, in walking in on mid, to late, Saturday morning, I did notice that they had a decent crowd. And, that most of the registers were open. 8-) In walking around the store, it is a clean store. But, for a "Depot" (think good prices), I was surprised to see that the many of the prices on stuff I use, were equal to, or even higher, than what I pay at other places. I didn't check the beer prices. So, I can't confirm the other poster's comment. But, they do have a small corner of the store for the beer. Perhaps, on my next shopping trip, I'll check the place out a bit more closely. Especially, since this store is the closest one to me.

While the cashier was checking me out, she paused to text someone and then slowly started to run more items across the counter. At this time, while she was still doing this, she started talking on her phone "Where you at?" I do not have any tolerance for this type of behavior, so I left my cart and my purchases at the checkout lane and told the Front-End lead that I did not have time for this and told her what the cashier was doing. I left without my purchases. Customer service appears to be dying at this store.

This is my go to Lotto store when I'm in the Old Capital. They have the largest selection of…read morescratch off tickets that I've ever seen; possibly every game there is. There is usually a line waiting to purchase lotto tickets and 40's here. Also this is a Shell station, so if you have a Kroger Plus card you get $.10 off a gallon which is always a plus considering the ever rising price of gas. The staff at this store is family who has ran this station for quite a few years. They are always very friendly and seem like genuinely kind people.
