I was there today and I decided to check out at a manned cashier because it was empty. I normally use the self-checkout lines, but prefer to help someone have a job by giving them a little extra work. While the cashier was checking me out, she paused to text someone and then slowly started to run more items across the counter. At this time, while she was still doing this, she started talking on her phone "Where you at?" I do not have any tolerance for this type of behavior, so I left my cart and my purchases at the checkout lane and told the Front-End lead that I did not have time for this and told her what the cashier was doing. I was in the Eatonton, Georgia Walmart tonight and witnessed a rude employee being very smart ass . The lady customer checked herself out, bagged her items and paid for them without the help of any Walmart employee.she picked up her bags and as she got to the exit door this employee followed her and said "These buggies don't return themselves". The lady went back to get the cart she had left with 3 other carts and the employee said "Where are you going?". the lady said to get the cart. when she retrieved the buggy or cart then the employee says. "That's my buggy and she aggressively grabbed the cart. the customer then left the store. Seems this Walmart on Collins Hill Road at 316 is undergoing a much needed renovation. Parts of the store around the auto section were plastic sheeted off. Not much stock in anything around the entire store or the parts stocked was not what I needed. I assume easier to move shelves/stock when less on the floor, lol. I've said it before, I hate going shopping late morning. Just too many people & they literally block where I am CLEARLY looking with their cart or body.. RUDE!!!! But, I got through to find the entire checkout area was revamped. 1 way in & 1 way out- LOTS of employees working & actually being productive & communicating with customers most even smiling. WHAT?! A nice change! Got in line & literally took 2 minutes to get to an actual register with an actual associate who actually spoke & smiled. We had an actual conversation.... Just like old times. DO NOT USE THEIR AUTO CENTER worst service i have ever had. i took my car in to get tires and it was horrible start to finish.i spent over 4 hours just trying to get 2 tires put on my car because of course they couldnt have a full set in stock. they finally pull my car in to change the tires and they pull the front driver no problem. then they move to the passenger rear and after 30 seconds 5 techs are standing at my tire just staring for a good 10 minutes talking and then the new guy comes in and tells me im sorry but we are unable to get that tire off so we cant replace it we put an air impact to it and a breaker bar (roughly 3 feet long and over an inch thick )and cant get it. so i tell him to button it up my husband is a mechanic ill have him fix it and will be back shortly. i drive all the way home and my husband pulls out this 1 foot long 1/2 in breaker bar and with 1 hand and minimal efforts proceeds to break loose every lug nut on my car i less than5 minutes so he goes back with me to walmart and we speak to the manager chandra and she proceeds to tell us that they are not allowed to use breaker bars to break lug nuts loose in case it comes off and kills someone. well any mechanic will tell you that if your lug nuts are on properly an impact will not break them loose you have to use a breaker bar to loosen them and then you remove then with the impact. anyways so i tell her what happened and that they had a breaker bar out and that i need this done today so my husband brought his breaker bar and will break every lug nut loose for them if need be and she says thats fine. she comes back in and says hell be done in a few and will do yours next. we wait over an hour before i go up to her and give her my keys and ask to call me when it is ready we are going shopping and she doesnt even know if my information is in the system from when i checked in before or which car is fine so another girl takes down my information for a second time and we proceed to go shopping. 200 dollars of purchased goods and an hour later we return to the auto center expecting my car to be done or atleast started. nope they have not touched it. we wait another 30 minutes someone finally appears at the auto register so we go ahead and check out and just as we finish they pull my car in so we ask the guy at the register if we can put the stuff in my car and he says yes so we go out and again ask the seasoned mechanic near my car but not working on it of we can put our stuff in the truck and he says yes so we go to pull the chain and Johnathon the mechanic working on my car who cant keep his pants up gives us a dirty look and then looks over to the seasoned mechanic and asks if we are allowed to put out stuff in the car and he tells him yes and Johnathon proceeds to give another dirty look and go about his business so we put out stuff in the car and step back thinking this will be short and my husband smokes a cigarette. johnathan proceeds to raise my car on the lift and struggles to remove the front driver tire due to not loosening the lug nuts while it was on the ground. he then moves to the right rear again and puts a ryobi electric impact on the lug nut for 2 seconds and again says he cannot remove them so they cannot change my tires and i speak up that i already spoke to the manager and that this is nonsense and my husband is allowed to break them loose since they cannot and they get an attitude and new guy goes in an asks manager and comes back and says it fine so my husband asks someone to put their foot on the break and gets his breaker bar he used before and breaks them loose and the problems dont stop there. johnathan has no idea what he is doing he cant figure out how to remove a tire, cant figure out how to put the tire on the tire machine to remove it from the rim. cant figure out how to put the new tire on the rim nor how to use the balance machine and wastes 15 minutes at each stage before asking for help. he isnt the only one who have no business working on cars neither do half the other techs. they finally get done and i see them wheeling off my old tires that i asked to be put in my trunk so i had to run out and stop them. we pay and leave finally and barely get out of the parking lot and the tpms sensors start going off so we turn around and they way over filled my tires and set off the sensors and didn't know how to reset them so they tried to make me drive 45-50 miles to "reset" them to avoid being liable (they admitted that if i came back tomorrow they would not be able to touch it without charging me) they then unhooked my battery to reset the tpms sensors which does not work. my husband went through the owners manual and found that my car has a reset button in the glovebox the managers response to everything was well what do you want me to do about it...she only willingly stocked and everything out side of that was an inconvenience to her and she refused to do anything a manager should do read more

I found this Walmart confusing to find, to get into and to get back out on the street. It's kind of back on top of a hill and you don't see it from the main street. As with most Walmarts, there is a strip mall along side of it which was maybe 75% occupied. Parking lot is typical Walmart confusion: It's everyone for themselves!\ I did find the aisles either too narrow or too many pallets of junk put in the middle of a main aisle to the point that if someone ahead of you stopped, it was impossible to go around. In that respect, this store is poorly designed for the flow of foot traffic. Can't really say that it's more expensive than other WalMarts because they're the only game in town, but it wouldn't surprise me. The design of the parking lot and feeder roads leading in and out give rise to concern. That is, I would be concerned about someone hitting me because there is no clear arteries leading to the store. read more

I had a craving for some fresh fruit one night a few weeks ago. What I found were moldy oranges, fruit flies and rotten bananas. According to a fellow customer its been that way for a while according to the smell. I also found an entire bag of oranges that had green mold. That doesnt happen over night. I figured, I'll just grab a container of kiwi because it was the only thing that looked decent and I would get something the next day. When I got home, I ate 2 kiwi and left the rest in my fridge. I woke the next morning and pulled the container out and I had gnats swarming around it after about 5-10 minutes of it being on the counter. One of the kiwi had been damaged at the bottom and apparently had gnats living in it. Awesome! I told customer service that night and like previously, the same moldy and bad fruit was still there 20 hours later. Does anyone even work produce at walmart? I work on the southside so piggly wiggly was my next stop. Someone is literally there almost every time I shop for fresh fruit. Its pretty too. I have been to many Walmart's across the United States, but this one is far worse than any other. The store employees in the electronic section do not want to do their jobs. When I tried to buy a new laptop from this location the first time, the staff refused to sell me the computer because they claimed the electronic section was closed when it was not. The next time I tried to purchase a new laptop from this location they did not have the right one that I wanted so I requested them to call the next town to see if they had it, and again the staff refused. This is not the only problem that I have experienced at this location. I have had the manager refuse to sell me discounted items that had the price clearly placed on the product. Also, the employees are extremely rude in certain departments and they do not stock the shelves for weeks at a time. Usually when I go to this location, what I am looking for is not in the store. I hate going to this Walmart and I am beginning to shop at other stores now. read more
