Certain nail stylists do really well here! But beware of asking for difficult designs since I haven't seen anything intricate turn out nice. Pretty solid place otherwise, I always ask for a gel pedicure and they turn out really nice! read more

DO NOT GO HERE I decided to come here today to have some acrylics removed (i had them done somewhere else). The nail lady proceeded to RIP my acrylics off using a subway Metro card. My nails are now destroyed, extremely thin, and hurt to put under water or even just lightly touch. I had to put a strengthening polish on and I am hoping it will help. DO NOT GO HERE FOR ACRYLIC REMOVALS!!! The other nail salon in Stratford by the train station is MUCH better and I have never had problems there. came to this place over my usual because they had a spot open right away & i couldn't wait for an appointment at my usual... #1- the gel color selection is quite small compared to the dip powder selection. it's a small table with a couple of rows of gel polishes... i was disappointed in the variety. #2- my previous gel was removed with the drummel and she over did it for sure. my nails were burning, i kept pulling my hand back in pain and she kept going instead of letting me soak for longer. My nails are typically really hard and strong and even with the gel they dont feel as strong. #3- lastly it's been 3 days and my thumb nail already has a crack in it... I'm sure by the end of the week my entire gel mani will be chipped. I gave two stars because the salon is super clean and modern... the staff are also really nice. read more

Don't bother. Not sure what happened to this place. Was closed for a period of time. Decided to give them a try tonight. Place was empty. Staff was rude. Proceeded to talk to each other whole time and not in English. All we're looking at clock as if they just wanted to leave. Complained about the gel on my nails and that there was something wrong w it. Hmmm no you just don't know what you're doing. I paid and left without getting the manicure. Oh well. I always come here to get my nails done, but this time my sister came with me. I was getting acrylics, my mom and sister were getting their toes done. When we got in we had to wait 45 minutes just to get a seat. Then, my mother got taken care of right away. So then me and my sister had to wait another 15 minutes until someone came for me. My mom got her nails done first, then I got done. But when I finished my sister was just about to start. She waited over 1 hour! That was appalling. But I still go there because of there family-friendly environment. This has only happened one so I am not that worried about it, but it was still very rude. read more

I'm an old man. I can't reach my toes. I go to this place all the time. When a heterosexual man living in a provincial town goes into a nail spa, it raises some eyebrows. The homosexual men who work there all want to wait on me. They try to tuck my pants legs into my boots. The women ask me, in all seriousness, what color nail polish I want. I had to get past all this. I go in when the shop opens, on the slowest day of the week. I always ask for Lily, one of the oldest women in there. Lily gets right to work, gets the job done, gets her $5 tip and gets me out. She doesn't hurt me, or use my foot bath as her personal wash basin, as the young girls do. Lily uses an abrasive pad on the bottom of my feet. This tickles me, and I laugh. Then Lily laughs, and does it again. Soon all the Chinese girls are laughing. It only lasts for a moment, because Lily knows not to torment me. It's probably the most fun they have in there all day. Their idea of a massage is to squeeze the hell out of you, since they know nothing about musculature. I can do a better French buff than they can. Be careful not to get one of the youngest girls, unless you like pain. Aside from that, the location is convenient and the price is right. You won't do better anywhere in the area. read more

I've been looking for a new nail salon. Decided to walk in and try staff was great very friendly, my nails came out good. Love the color selection for gel nail polish. I was shocked by the price I guess I should have asked first on the brochure it said us gel fill was 35.00 no mention of gel nail polish or that it was extra my total came to 50.00 plus tax. Ouch that's the most I've ever spent. Really nice staff I wish the price was better or at least an explanation of the huge difference. read more

It was honestly terrible I went there and the girl that I had wasn't paying attention and she constantly kept poking me with the machine and constantly said she was sorry but kept doing it! After she applied the alchohol it stung like a b***h. She didn't apply the nail polish correctly and on top of that gave me an attitude when I accidentally messed up my nails! We waited for about 45 min and we go yup and left and then they were saying wait don't leave and we said no and we left. I've been going to this place for about 2 years... I used to really love it. In fact, my family has purchased many gift certificates for me here, and I for them. However, someone told me recently that they saw the hand towels being washed and wrung out in buckets instead of the washing machine. I thought maybe it was broken, but that is still gross. Then I noticed that all the instruments were dirty, but I still had this gift certificate to use so I went back... and this last time the woman there wanted me to soak my nails (to take of the shellac or gel polish) in a bowl of acetone that someone else had used... when I told them I didn't need to, the covered the used bowl and then gave it to another woman to soak her nails in. I should have said something but I just wanted to get out of there... they do a nice job, but they are unhygienic. I won't even mention the one time I went in there and I am confident one of the ladies doing a pedicure was saying something rude about the woman near me... all the ladies getting pedicures looked disgusted at the gossiping... read more

I just moved to the area and this is the first and only nail salon I have been to since the move. I've been twice so far. The prices are phenomenal and the foot rubs they give with pedicures are no joke! My acrylics always look perfect and they carry OPI which is my favorite! The only downside is I had the same man do my nails both times and he cut up my cuticles multiple times with the electric buffer. I do however have delicate skin in these areas because I have eczema on my hands. I may try and find a new salon that is a little more gentle but for the price this place is great!! read more

I came in 20 minutes before they were closing. They all looked at the clock. I told them I would come back tomorrow. She said no it's ok we can do a pedicure. The girl gave me a 30 second massage on my feet. They usually set a timer for each foot. I was done in less than 20 minutes. The polishing done was horrible. I wouldn't go back there. I started coming here because it's closer to where I live and it's pretty clean. I went in today thinking going earlier I can beat the weekend crowd, my mother and I were looking to get pedicures. They told us it would be a 30 min wait which seemed reasonable. So we waited 10 minutes and they put us in chairs with our feet soaking. Neither chair worked and mine was inclined all the way forward so I couldn't sit comfortably. So they had us wait n moved us to the other side. At this point we had been here for an hour and a half with our feet soaking. One lady finally came over to start one of our pedicures and I asked how long for another woman and she said another 15 minutes. We had to walk out at that point since I only had a sitter till 12 and no way I'd be done. Not one person genuinely cared about the customer service or lack there of. read more

This is the best nail salon ever!! The quality of their work is excellent and the girls are very friendly. I have been learning their language one word at a time. Every time I get my gel manicure they teach me a word. It is fun and their prices are very reasonable. Plus you get a great back rub while your nails are drying. I would never go anywhere else!! I discovered this salon recently (I learned that they have been in business here for about three years). I LOVE THIS PLACE! My nail tech is Anna. She can do anything you ask and is quite the expert. She speaks little English, but don't let that bother you. There are others to help out with this minor challenge. I love this young lady. She has done marvelous work on my mani-pedis, waxing, etc. Anna isn't in on Wednesdays, but ask for Lilian, who is pretty good. In fact, the entire staff is pretty good based on the lovely work I've seen on other ladies. The guys are pretty cool, too. No appointment is necessary, and there is plenty of parking in front of the salon. read more

Okay so based on reviews regarding unsanitary conditions I almost didn't go. However I had a gift certificate so I decided to get a basic mani. The place is clean enough visually with a pretty good selection of colors. OPI & Essie. And the manicures are only $9. I was relieved to see the guy grab a pack of instruments in a sanitation bag (like from the dentist) - until I noticed that it wasn't actually sealed. I suspected they clean the instruments and then place them back in the package. This was confirmed when I saw the employees sorting the instruments into a tray labeled "pre-sanitized" and stacking the bags next to it. I mean I guess clean items go in but I would feel much better if they followed all proper protocol. The mani was okay I have a personal pet peeve when they leave a gap between paint and cuticle because to me it looks like its already grown out but otherwise it was fine. So for a basic, quick and cheap mani this is your place. In the world of fungus...I'm not sure I would regularly chance it. read more
