I'm new to getting acrylic nails and my past experiences were not the best. I went to Amy and Chan to fix them and they made my nails look phenomenal. I asked for a full set and they removed the old nails painlessly and quickly but carefully applied the new ones. The color, the shape, the weight, the length - literally everything the last place had me wanting for - they improved on. I sat with Chan and he worked so delicately to create a beautiful shape on every single nail and to make sure the form was impeccable on each one. I had great conversation with him as he worked and he made me feel incredibly comfortable in the salon. Chan is witty, kind, and incredibly talented and the price they charge is even quite cheap. What an awful costumer service!!! I'm actually am still there but this is unreal! I never met anyone that does nails as rude as the husband! Literally he stoped and asked him wife to switch with him because I told him "I need a manicure & pedicure, and please cut the cuticles" He said what do you think a manicure is??? I am completely disgusted with the treatment I received from the owners of this nail salon. I had been there 1x before and they did a decent enough job, so I scheduled an appointment for today. I was stuck in traffic from the weather and arrived 9 minutes late. I was greeted with "oh you're late, right?" I immediately apologized and advised it was due to traffic. They both looked at me annoyed and told me to pick a color. After 90 seconds of looking for a color, while they both stared and waited..the man (idk his name) started complaining about how I was late then taking a long time to pick a color. He wasn't talking to me but to who I assume is his wife.. I just happened to hear him. I then let him know if it was a problem, I would just leave. He was mean and argumentative to me from the moment I walked in. Argued with me about all of the above. So rude and unprofessional. I apologized multiple times about being a few minutes late but i ended up leaving because I felt uncomfortable and attacked. I advised them they were being very rude and it was uncalled for and unprofessional. I told them I would review their business honestly (I don't usually write reviews, but this was so ridiculous), he advised they can reply. I said go ahead. I manage a business and if I ever treated people the way they treated me and how they made me feel, we would have no one there. I know it's no loss to them if I'm there or not.. but I will never be returning and will make sure no one I know ever does either. I hope one day they can have kindness and can do better. read more

Amy did a beautiful job on my nails! I walked in on a Monday afternoon and was seen immediately. I had an atrocious manicure at another salon and she fixed me up 100%. She's such a nice woman and extremely professional. My nails have never looked better!! Finally a natural looking acrylic mani. The salon is clean and prices are great!! Owner was very rude while doing my nails. He told me that I should not be judging the way he does nails after I just checked the shape to see if I was happy with it, I did not say a single word to him about the shape of the nails and also dismissed me in mid conversation about my previous work done. I absolutely love this place, and it's the only one I'll be going to from here on out! I've been on a search for the perfect nail salon in Milford for a few years, and this is it! The pricing is beyond fair, even cheap, and the service is amazing! I love the couple who runs this salon: they are genuinely friendly and a joy to hold a conversation with. I have gotten multiple full acrylic sets and a pedicure here, and am beyond pleased every single time. I first tried MT because I wanted a reasonable acrylic fill and they had decent reviews. Then I referred my sister and a few friends, besides their lackluster customer service and occasional downright rudeness, like the time I asked them to just polish my five year olds nails and the husband gruffly pulled her hands and said "you're gonna sit still for me right?!". After that it was months before I came back and I went in with SNS powder on. I told them to soak it off and they said "we have our way" and proceeded to rip it all off with the a plastic nail tip as I winced in pain. I asked for a slight coffin and besides my Nails being extremely long she said she couldn't do it. Then I said if you can't can you cut them down and she said no. Two weeks later I go back for a fill and cut down and they say come back in 15 minutes. I have my kid with me so I go to Mr macs to feed her and run back across the street. I walk in and she said I told you 15 minutes and it's been longer I took another customer, I didn't know where you went. Meanwhile my giant SUV parked right in front of the door never moved. And then her and the husband are laughing. I said I'm sorry how long has it been? They said half hour and they're laughing as if it's hilarious and I'm an idiot. I talked to another friend who goes there and she said the same: terrible attitude and general rudeness. Needless to say I won't go back and I'll tell everyone to not spend money there!! read more

On August 9, I went to my regular salon for a manicure as I was leaving for vacation the next day. They told me to wait 15 minutes. I left and stopped at MT Nails which is right up the street from my office. I paid a little more than I normally would, but this place is fabulous!! The husband and wife are great! You can actually have a great conversation with them!! I went back to MT Nails the next Friday for a mani-pedi. Again, I paid a little more but I have never had a better pedicure!! The wife asked me how my vacation was; we talked about her little boy starting school. I am telling everyone I know about MT Nail & Spa. Glad I found it!! read more

MT Nails is an unassuming salon in an unassuming strip mall. But the husband-wife duo who run it are terrific. Both do a fabulous job shaping and polishing nails. And she is now the only person I trust with gel manicures. Other places have ruined my nails, but after multiple gel manicures here, my nails actually look better. Her waxing is also top notch. They are polite and friendly, and seem to remember everyone who comes in. Again, not a fancy place, but not what matters. read more
