That set the tone for the rest of the experience. I signed up for their $59 facial special. As soon as I sat down, the worker immediately started upselling me on extra options. The way it was explained was confusing, and I agreed to extractions and another add-on, thinking they were part of the original facial. After a very quick facial, I went to pay and the total had jumped from $59 to $124. When I asked why, I was told it was because of the add-ons. Then I received a text receipt showing $137 instead -- which I'm assuming included a tip I never agreed to. I didn't argue in the moment, but I definitely learned a lesson. Between the rescheduling, lateness, confusing upsell tactics, and surprise charges, I would not recommend Oasis Spa in Saugus. Proceed with caution.

I waited until they took me to the room and I changed fast so the appointment wasn't late. The masseuse did not come for another 10 minutes. It is all visible in camera. She was really rough on my back. She also did not avoid my injury until I told her multiple times and still did not. Most of all, she was absolutely terrible, it felt uncomfortable. At the 50 minute mark, she said "we're done" and I said "we're done early?" and she knew she was too early. So she continued but terribly, picking up her phone which was obvious because she kept stopping and using one hand. Then just scratching my head. You may so, oh its a Chinese massage, I lived in Hong Kong for 12 years until this past August so I know what an Asia massage is, and this is not it. The massage table is covered with disposable paper like at a doctors office. There was a towel to cover yourself up with. No sheet or blanket I won't go into details of the massage- it wasn't horrible but it was different. The massage therapist didn't discuss anything...just got right down to business which included uncovering body parts that don't normally get uncovered during normal massages. Upon leaving, I left my tip in the room and yelled out "thank you!" so she would know I was leaving. She came out from behind a partition and accused me of not having a tip for her. Real professional. Overall, not a good or relaxing experience. I would be extremely surprised if this is even a legal business.
