They had already expanded their space at the old location once, and this new location continues on that path. The first floor has all of the gaming and comic products, while the second floor has the gaming space. Store has a pretty large selection of card and tabletop gaming items. New pull comic book selection is good, with longboxes mostly containing newer books. Graphic novels are spread across several bookshelves and the selection is good. They have a handful of other things like Pop Vinyls. Overall, Alchemist's Cove Games & Comics is arguably the best comic book shop for several surrounding counties outside of the Allentown metro area, and continues to grow. It's worth a stop when in the area.

The shop is by the Dollar Shop entrance, which appears to have been blocked off, so enter from the main mall entrance. Somewhere In Time is large for a memorabilia/card shop. The day I visited they had a sidewalk sale going on. This shop is major old school and is a collectors/diggers DREAM. Most shops like this are long closed or located at flea markets with limited hours. Near the register area is the wall of cards, which included Magic: The Gathering and Pokemon cards that I did not expect to see in a shop like this. Shop had several boxes of old singles to browse through. They have a huge selection of various collectables, but you can tell when items have gone through popularity changes. I saw various bobble heads and action figures from several eras, potential buys if you know what you are looking for. Tons of sports collectibles are located throughout the entire shop. Something the shop should look into is a major cleanup/reorganization. Areas of the shop were roped off, other things were covered up, and some areas were hard to get into with a tight fit. Some new shelving with reorganized isles and slightly brighter lighting would be nice improvements. I found myself conflicted when giving this shop a rating as I suspect most people don't know about it except for locals. While there are many shops that are part of the Cressona Mall, it is a little off the beaten path. For organization I would give it a three, but the vast selection and service bumps it up to a four. I'm wondering if the shop has considered carrying Comic Books, Board/RPG Gaming, or hosting Magic/Pokemon Tournaments as I know of no shops doing it in the Cressona/Frackville/Pottsville/Schuylkill Haven/St. Clair metro area and most shops are diversifying into these areas.

If you are a Magic, Pokemon, etc. fan, you are in luck, they supply that. Everything is found at a reasonable price and the service is nice and willing to negotiate. If you can't find something, the staff will work to get what you are looking for and get it to you. The only problem is the organization. Behind the counter, on the floor needs to get tightened up. In a back room is tons of memorbelia unable to get to or look at. Otherwise it is a great store with a vast selection. It is my favorite store around for anything sports.

The Lehigh Carbon Community College events are smaller but usually have a respectable number of dealers and several guests, with free parking. In 2024, the convention made a major change by having an event at the Allentown Fairgrounds Agri-Plex. This was a badly needed move as prior to this, the convention was feeling stale and running too many events per year at the community college. The Agri-Plex allowed to them to have two large open rooms for vendors, guests, and an on-site food stand. Biggest challenges were the lines to get in as the attendance was larger than expected and crowding at the entrance among the vendors. Vendor selection was good offering a wide variety of comics and toys. For 2025 the convention returned to the Agri-Plex, and had another large crowd with the line to get in still strong even several hours after opening despite the wet weather. There was still enough parking even with the crowd. Layout was largely the same. Comic vendors came in all sizes and price points, with there being everything from quarter book boxes to wall books worth hundreds of dollars. The convention also had guests, display vehicles, and toy vendors. It was an easy event to attend with a low-ticket price and was worth my time. Overall, the Lehigh Valley Comic Convention's event at the Agri-Plex has been a major success and brought needed changes to the convention. While it's not the size of something like FAN EXPO Philadelphia, it's also much cheaper and easier to access. You could bring the family here, get some comic books, eat, and not go bankrupt. The expansion to two days and dates in June for 2026 will be interesting and I look forward to attending.

There is a welcoming front room with glass display case of various different crystals for purchase. Not only that, there is a selection of Tarot Cards, beautiful chakra oils (made by Daphne herself), apparel, scented candles infused with various crystals too. There is incense, incense holders and even some beautiful 3D printing decor available. There is also a back room with inexpensive stones to choose from, small towers on the shelves along with other unique items. Additionally Reiki, past life regression and Tarot card reading is available by appointment. Just call. I did not partake in any of the aforementioned services but I can tell you I love this shop! Steven and Daphne recently opened up this shop. They also educated me on the beautiful Goddess Fortuna. Steven has created a gorgeous statue of her. Very interesting. Owners are super friendly. There are so many beautiful things to see and the store is continuing to be stocked, so I predict there will always be something new and beautiful.
