The spiced apple wine hands down was the winner. We took home 2 bottles of it. The prices were very reasonable, I think we paid $15 for a bottle. We came back after walking around and trying a few other places. We will absolutely back if/when we come back to Jim Thorpe!

The lady who served us was so easy going, it is worth mentioning again how great the staff is. Their tasting bar area can get packed; so we found an opening and she served us right away and said we could go ahead an find an empty table, that she trusted we would come back to settle our bill when we were ready to leave. We were pleasantly surprised and purchased a bottle of red not only because we enjoyed it, but because we wanted to repay the kindness and trust extended. Thanks for a great experience!

He has beautifully repaired and restored many of my statues, and his painting is equally amazing. So much to learn about and the perfect start to our time here in this charming little Swiss-inspired town. The museum is in a former church which in recent years has had lots of painstaking restorations. Admission was 7.50 if you don't care to see the video. We were pressed for time so we skipped that part. I think full price with the video is 10.00.

I believe this museum is a legit mom and pop run organization. They are friendly and know the history inside and out. I appreciated their perspective and felt the time spent here was worth it. I will note you probably won't spend more than 30-45 minutes from end to end, which makes it easy to schedule as a portion of your day in town.
