Ordered a Dinner for 2. And decided to try chicken guy ding (yuck) The chicken balls from the dinner for 2, big chunks of gristle/cartilage in almost every chicken ball bite. Kids could not eat them or finish them, I felt bad telling them to eat it and then realizing later how bad they were. Not even I could eat one. Felt like we were served dog food. Rice was microwaved. Egg rolls were soggy too. This place was my go to for so many years. And just like everything else, it has gone down to 3rd world quality and service over the years. Overpriced garbage. The food was some of the worst I ever had. The lemon chicken was just chicken balls that tasted sour. The beef and greens was just basically burnt greens with the odd slice of translucent beef. The chicken balls were all ball and no chicken and the sweet-and-sour sauce was watery nuclear red looking slop. read more

Disappointing. Was really craving general Tao and wow it was worse than chain food court chinese. I requested the general Tao to be extra spicy and while I wholeheartedly believe a restaurant is not required to cater to your requests, I like to ask this to gauge their response. The overwhelming majority of Chinese places will give you chilli sauce packets, some may give you chilli oil or Sriracha in containers but the best ones will use more peppers such as birds eye in the actual cooking. Because you have a clear view of the kitchen (which was clean) when picking up food, I had the opportunity to see the cook open my container and quickly splash some sriracha on top of the food. The food was fried to all he'll the oil must be old. The food was definitely microwaved you can tell from the whole plate being hot. The bathroom was dirty in general the restaurant was dirty, there was rice and sauce still on my table that had been set. Also the menus were sticky and water damaged. The price on the menu is not what they charge you which is pretty shady. Just overall wouldn't trust the food. read more

I always order the Vietnamese noodle bowl and extra spring rolls and am never disappointed. We have many good Vietnamese restaurants in this city but this one really has the best noodle bowl. The marinade on the pork is perfection. But do not be tempted to order the Chinese food. The dishes sound interesting but it's just prepackaged, frozen stuff. read more

The golden wok has some seriously outdated and ugly decor. That being said, I have never had a bad experience here. The owners are super friendly, and they remember me and my order whenever I come in. They seem to be famous for their Vietnamese noodle bowl. It is the only dish I have ordered from them. I used to love going to this place for Bún Tht Nng (noodle bowl), so when I moved back it was my first stop for Pho. Sadly it wasn't very good. The broth was too light and watery. The server also forgot to bring my tea and other beverages. Seems to have dropped in quality. read more
