Luckily, they were able to accommodate the girls for the open pool time at the non member rate. All in all, my daughter and friends had a great time. I had to get in the water because a few of the girls could not swim but, I can't swim either but I can pull them out of the water if necessary. My daughter did so many cannon balls that I can't count. I would return for open swim again despite having a headache at the door due to the convenience of the location. This indoor pool is also used for competitive swimming due to the lap area as well as swim class for all ages and water aerobics for adults.

The pool is a good size, with an accessible lift, stairs, and ladders as options for entry and exit. The pool also has little platforms so that younger children can be in shallow water without hanging on the steps and blocking ingress and egress. Great. The pool is surrounded by glass walls and windows so people who do not want to be in the warm and humid and chlorine smelling pool area can still watch their kiddos swim and have fun. Great. The lifeguard walking around the pool during party time is very attentive. Great. The party room is a little bit small but big enough to put a room full of kiddos each with a parent around the three tables, each seats, eight children. Also, plenty of room in the entry area and a hallway leading to the locker rooms in shower area for kids to run and play and have fun during party time. Great. So why only four stars instead of when the places so nifty? Because the two staff folks who sat at the front desk during this three hour children's party talked to each other and spent time on their phones and pretty much did nothing in the way of interaction with or support of the hosts of this party. The folks hosting the party did all the set up and also all of the cleanup. The two people at the desk did move the trash bags out to wherever they put trash bags behind the facility after the hosts cleaned everything thoroughly. But the staff didn't interact with anybody at any point nor help when people were looking for things like paper towels. And then they came up to other people - parents who were not the host of the party - and asked them "do you think that the hosts are going to leave us a tip?" I just find that a little appalling. My guess is that the host family was planning on leaving a tip - because that's who and how they are. And, my guess is that they left a good tip, but I also guess that they would've left an even better tip had those two people done anything to show any interest or support during this gathering. Instead, they went to other parents, reminding them to tell the hosts that a tip was anticipated. If you're that concerned, be supportive of the event, and ask the host of the party who are paying to rent the facility directly. Don't go to other family members and friends and drop blatant hints. That's unprofessional. Not great. You're lucky you got four stars and not three.

My first class with SafeSplash started in September and now in November I am swimming! I am overjoyed by my progress. My instructor (Niyala) has been absolutely amazingly kind, patient, informative, and supportive. Niyala was a huge part of my success. The owner, Michael, has been so helpful and accommodating. As an adult swimmer, my work schedule has been conflicting at times, but he has stepped in to help me find alternative days/times. I definitely recommend SafeSplash, especially for adult students. It is never too late to learn and it is a joy to see the children students learning alongside me.

Small showers and the access to the sauna is pretty far outside the shower near the swimming pool. They don't provide towels. Luckily my husband had an extra towel in his gym bag.

There were some days I couldn't make my normal schedule, but Kay would let me make it up on a Saturday. To my surprise, I found a wonderful clinic just eight minutes from home that also accepted my insurance! After reviewing the website, I realized their program offered everything I was looking for, and more. I had the option of a 30-minute in-person consultation or a 15-minute virtual one both on the same day. I chose to go in person because I wanted to not only learn about the services but also see the space for myself (plus, it was so close!). Shortly after booking, Cara-Michele, the practice owner, called to confirm my appointment and suggested I double-check my insurance coverage. That evening , I arrived a few minutes early, and I'm glad I did. The GPS directions were a little off. The building houses several other businesses, and is secure, requiring visitors to be buzzed in. As soon as I walked into the suite, Cara-Michele greeted me warmly, and I immediately felt comfortable and confident that I was in the right place. Her calm, compassionate demeanor and thoughtful questions helped her understand my needs, and she gave me the space to express my frustrations after so many prior appointments that left me without answers. Cara-Michele walked me through all the services offered, including nutrition and physical training, as well as showed me the equipment and products she uses. While she made no promises, I left that consultation feeling truly hopeful. I scheduled my first acupuncture treatment for the very next day, and the second the day after. After the first session, I felt about 50% better; by the second, I was nearly 90% improved. The name speaks for itself, STRENGTH & VITALITY WELLNESS CENTER! Although I've only had two treatments so far, I'm beginning to feel like myself again. I'd had one before at Vita Revive but wasn't as impressed because their door had an opening near the hinge that let cool air in so I didn't feel like I was getting the complete effect. The sauna at Holistic Solutions was state of the art, from the lighting, areas of concentration for the infrared treatment, the lighting, even down to the music (either your own or choose from a selection similar to what you'd expect to hear during a massage session). Cara-Michele was great and seems knowledgeable about her craft (which seems to be overall holistic wellness). She took the time to explain how the sauna works to me and after my session she walked me through all the different programs she offers. I liked that she had a lot of holistic supplements for purchase but I only discovered them from looking around on my own, she didn't try to push them on me like a used cars salesmen. Outside of supplements she also has nutrient powders and shakes but be advised they're not vegan. I have a primary place I already visit for acupuncture but I do plan to visit this place again to try out some of the other services offered.
