Her speed and technique are improving in every stroke with every lesson, and we're seeing the results in her times at meets. She evaluates at each lesson, then focuses on what she sees as an area for improvement which can improve time and/or efficiency. She's also very good about making recommendations for cardio and resistance training exercises, and which muscle groups on which to focus effort, in order to directly benefit swimming, and which local swim teams could be a good fit for further improvement. If your child/pre-teen/teen, or you as a competitive adult in Ironman or other training, want a top-class, no-nonsense instructor with the experience and active involvement in the sports, you need look no further. She will be straight forward with your swimmer on what they need to do to improve, but doesn't push it past the point of being "over the top" like some of the instructors we tried tend to do. She knows how to be tough, and nice about it. She's inspirational rather than threatening. We did try the rest, and have been very fortunate to find Nancy.

We came to Aspire Kids from another gym because my son didn't like that there were no other boys in his classes. My son started in the Mighty Mites program at age 5, and after a year moved into competitive gymnastics. He has competed for 3 years now with the Junior SunDevils, and we couldn't be more pleased with his training and coaches. During COVID lockdowns, we were offered free Zoom training, and we were able to schedule virtual private lessons for my son to continue to progress. Switching to training in the day group this past year has improved my son's training and competition experience and outcome even more. The one aspect I have enjoyed as a parent with Jr SunDevils is the rapport and support among athletes and families. I have heard of a lot of drama in other sports or gyms, and not having to deal with that has been great. Parent support is great, and I have enjoyed getting to know other team families. I'm a big fan of Aspire Kids, and the boys' team. I can't speak for the girls' program or others, but we spend a lot of hours there, and my kid is happy to be there. I'm grateful to be a part of Aspire Kids Sports!

She was always very friendly and professional while also making the lessons fun for him! The techniques she used were easy for him to catch on to and remember. We decided…read moreto commit to two weeks of 1:1 swim lessons at our home for 2 weeks, (8 lessons, 30 mins each), because despite almost 2 years of weekly group swim lessons at local swim schools, I wasn't confident my 5-year old was truly water safe. I worried about her overconfidence in the pool (thinking she could swim because of the lessons), yet not knowing how to get herself to the side of the pool and out, or swimming without assistance safely. The local swim schools seemed to focus on specific skills like floating on her back and wouldn't target other skills without her doing this, despite her having ear issues that made this very uncomfortable. At the end of the day, that wasn't going to keep her from drowning and I wanted her to be water safe, then start learning strokes. Tori listened to our experience and goals for Michaela and exceeded our expectations. By the end of two weeks, Michaela was not only completely water safe (able to swim to the side of the pool and get out without assistance), but also learned freestyle, backstroke and butterfly, two types of dives and able to dive for items at the bottom of the pool without issue. After the lessons concluded, Michaela swam in our pool for 45 mins with zero support and even practiced strokes and dives. This level of skill would have taken years of weekly lessons and much more money spent in a swim school. This was absolutely worth the investment and daily time commitment for two weeks. Michaela and our whole family adores Tori; her enthusiasm for swimming and teaching was palpable. She built a lasting relationship, connection and impact on Michaela, beyond just advancing her swimming skills. Thank you, Kidtastics and Tori!! We would recommend Kidtastics to any family with a child that has any level of swim goals.

This location is very unorganized. I had scheduled a swim class for a private lesson and they did…read morenot add it to the schedule and booked someone else and took my son out of class 5 minutes into his session. Not once did manager apologize to me or my son they simply said your son wasn't on the schedule and this child was. Audrey is the person who spoke with and suddenly unavailable during this conversation. They clearly double book that session but declined to admit an error. The worst experience ever when returning to this location.

It was solid, personable, and coaches actually enjoyed and cared for the kids growth. Fast forward to now, our oldest (8), middle child (4), and our youngest (2) have been loyal to this company for a long time. The facility was OK, we stayed because of the young coaches that taught our kids, also we don't like change in general . Since it was bought out from SafeSplash, we saw a decline in students, the vibes are off from the coaches, the parents/kids. The management cares more about the tasks not actually care of each kid. The new swim curriculum is weird and I don't see any improvement from my 2 and 4 year old boys compared to my 8 year old when he started with aqua Safe's curriculum. Finally, I don't recommend it this place anymore. It used to be awesome for the kids but now they're more focus on making money vs kids growth in swim. We're currently at Swimhaus Swim School and it's been amazing. Family local owned, which is huge plus for us!!
