Their membership is high if you compare it to other places in the area that offer the same exact, and even better, classes - at the time I joined, I did not know the Wayne Community Center offered those, and I wish I had because they charge 50% less than Spa23 and have amazing trainers. In all honesty, I'm disappointed at how they handled my last billing. I had decided to set up personal training sessions with a trainer named Ricky, I trusted him and my mistake was not asking questions when we sat down to sign the contract, however, as an employee, he should've made sure I understood what I was signing - he did not explain what his rates were, nor how much I'd be billed for the month, so they billed me $212! I had already moved and canceled my membership with them, but they still billed my account. The person that reached out to me to explain the situation was nice, but no resolution was given - I'm now 45 minutes from Spa23, my money was never refunded, and credits for a different service can't be given. I know people who had gone to Spa23 and ended up leaving, both trainers and members, due to their dislike of it and how much of a "chain management" it had, but I truly didn't think I'd experience that firsthand.

They've had the same instructor, Mark for about the last 2 years and holds him in high regard! My other child (age 5) started lessons a little over a year ago and is already swimming a short distance to the instructor! The Deck Director, Anthony is very personable and kind. Our only complaint is that yes, the water temperature is very cold.

Total charge was $2,400 for one month of summer camp. The price is not my main issue. Its the manner in which they bill and THREATEN. I usually send my daughter to Lightbridge which has smaller class sizes and is a better school IMO and have never been billed in that manner. Apple Montesorri billing practice is threatening and predatory in nature. On Monday, 3/20, I received an email indicating paymment should in full in 2 days or "your application will be denied". . I didnt want my daughter to attend a school with such practices so I didnt pay tge inviice forgetting that I had given them my credit card info. . My card was charged on Friday 3/24. Today on 3/27, I contacted them telling the school I'm no longr interested in their summer program. They claim I cant reverse the charge and my daughter must attend their summer program that starts 2 months away. I've already called my bank to reverse the charge. But had to leave a review as this practice is predatory and manipulative. I only wanted my daughter to attend due to the daily swim classes n activities. But I could not in good faith support a school thats so impersonal and threatens parents. Their proram doent start till after July 4 by tge way. We're still in March!.

The only thing school really cares about is money and how to get more money from parent's pockets. We had a very bad experience when they started charging us for AM and PM care randomly for being 1 or 2 minutes late or early. When we tried to explain that the timestamps appear to be made up(which they were - I had proof), they just charged us anyway(without authorization). Even when the assistant director told us that there was an error on their part, the tuition director didn't refund us the charge. Following is what I observed in being ~4 years with the school: 1. They find new ways of getting money from parents. 2. Their fast track program($100 per month) is a waste. When the teacher of this program left, the school didn't inform the parents about it and kept charging us. 3. Even the tution director who does the billing doesn't know the correct buffer pick or drop times for the parents. These buffer times changed when I exchanged emails with her. Earlier it was said that it's 10 minutes for morning but later this was changed to 15 minutes in the same email thread.(looks like a scam to me) Their payment system has been designed to make holes in parent's pockets: 1. There is no free AM or PM care, and buffer times vary based on whom you ask. 2. During covid they did close classrooms for weeks, but we as parents never asked for refund. They should have at least brought it up. We kept our kids home and never said that we need money back for services we never got. 3. Fast track classes are charged $100 per month. Why would you charge for extra class when it should be available for every kid paying the monthly tuition? I can't give less than 1 on review, but if they keep going on this path then parents like us will keep leaving this school. Please do not send your kid to this school. Stars for the management : 0

This location needs improvement. Upon entering the facility the vibe of the staff was mediocre and…read morelacked professionalism. From the manager on duty, the lifeguard, and swim instructors. The swim instructors while in the water with clients during a class session were bad mouthing parents and gossiping. Please have some decorum and respect for the parents in the water with you. A lot of the staff besides the manager were young adults but that doesn't absolve them of being professional and watching what you say in the presence of others. The lifeguard on duty seemed not as focused on the water and the clients in it. She was looking down at her nails often and out into the waiting area. Her vision should be towards the water and what is going on there - always. She appeared to be a seat filler because of the requirement to have a lifeguard on duty and not truly for the safety of the swim patrons. I was not impressed by the manger on duty - she failed to provide her name or introduce herself properly and attempted to clean up the bad first impression she gave when I first walked into the facility to inquire about the start time. The actual facility itself is okay. The pool looked clean but I noticed parents (not with baby swimmers) and staff just hanging out in the enclosed pool area. Big Blue missed the mark on so many levels and doesn't appear to be worth the price as there are comparable swim schools within 10 miles of this location that just do the job better. I'm glad they provide a trial session so you can avoid being committed to madness and lackluster service. We definitely won't be back.

You can tell she really cares she celebrates every improvement and is always eager to help my daughter earn her stars. I appreciate her so much for making each lesson positive, encouraging, and fun. I wish we had longer class with 3 ratio as I feel that my daughter would benefit from more time in the classes . They are pricey but as long as she's learning I'm okay . I recommend
