Their membership is high if you compare it to other places in the area that offer the same exact, and even better, classes - at the time I joined, I did not know the Wayne Community Center offered those, and I wish I had because they charge 50% less than Spa23 and have amazing trainers. In all honesty, I'm disappointed at how they handled my last billing. I had decided to set up personal training sessions with a trainer named Ricky, I trusted him and my mistake was not asking questions when we sat down to sign the contract, however, as an employee, he should've made sure I understood what I was signing - he did not explain what his rates were, nor how much I'd be billed for the month, so they billed me $212! I had already moved and canceled my membership with them, but they still billed my account. The person that reached out to me to explain the situation was nice, but no resolution was given - I'm now 45 minutes from Spa23, my money was never refunded, and credits for a different service can't be given. I know people who had gone to Spa23 and ended up leaving, both trainers and members, due to their dislike of it and how much of a "chain management" it had, but I truly didn't think I'd experience that firsthand.

Why wouldn't they invest in some ceiling fans to circulate the air at least?? at the rates they charge? when I joined my current gym I made a comment about the temps there as well... about a week or 2 later, they went and installed fans in every corner of the gym to circulate the air. I was impressed. My current gym is much smaller, their fees are more than half of Spa 23, and they are 24/7 which is huge for me, and its nice and cool. Their treadmills even have little fans built in which are pretty strong. So I will not be returning here... too bad, they're equipment is pretty impressive.

We brought this up last year so they changed the instructor with a promise of better teacher. But that didn't work as my kid got scared of water when the teacher left him for few seconds in the water. We spoke with customer service last weekend and they promised that someone would look at what's going on and may be take my kid separately to see what can be improved upon. But, when I went to front on the swimming day they had NO clue of what I told by customer service. They also said that we will send someone today but no one came during the class.

Total charge was $2,400 for one month of summer camp. The price is not my main issue. Its the manner in which they bill and THREATEN. I usually send my daughter to Lightbridge which has smaller class sizes and is a better school IMO and have never been billed in that manner. Apple Montesorri billing practice is threatening and predatory in nature. On Monday, 3/20, I received an email indicating paymment should in full in 2 days or "your application will be denied". . I didnt want my daughter to attend a school with such practices so I didnt pay tge inviice forgetting that I had given them my credit card info. . My card was charged on Friday 3/24. Today on 3/27, I contacted them telling the school I'm no longr interested in their summer program. They claim I cant reverse the charge and my daughter must attend their summer program that starts 2 months away. I've already called my bank to reverse the charge. But had to leave a review as this practice is predatory and manipulative. I only wanted my daughter to attend due to the daily swim classes n activities. But I could not in good faith support a school thats so impersonal and threatens parents. Their proram doent start till after July 4 by tge way. We're still in March!.

We had a very bad experience when they started charging us for AM and PM care randomly for being 1 or 2 minutes late or early. When we tried to explain that the timestamps appear to be made up(which they were - I had proof), they just charged us anyway(without authorization). Even when the assistant director told us that there was an error on their part, the tuition director didn't refund us the charge. Following is what I observed in being ~4 years with the school: 1. They find new ways of getting money from parents. 2. Their fast track program($100 per month) is a waste. When the teacher of this program left, the school didn't inform the parents about it and kept charging us. 3. Even the tution director who does the billing doesn't know the correct buffer pick or drop times for the parents. These buffer times changed when I exchanged emails with her. Earlier it was said that it's 10 minutes for morning but later this was changed to 15 minutes in the same email thread.(looks like a scam to me) Their payment system has been designed to make holes in parent's pockets: 1. There is no free AM or PM care, and buffer times vary based on whom you ask. 2. During covid they did close classrooms for weeks, but we as parents never asked for refund. They should have at least brought it up. We kept our kids home and never said that we need money back for services we never got. 3. Fast track classes are charged $100 per month. Why would you charge for extra class when it should be available for every kid paying the monthly tuition? He is now a senior in high school. He has gone from learning to play guitar, base, drums, and he found his niche in vocals. The School Of Rock has gone through so many changes in the past 6 1/2 years but it's been the last three years that truly Turn tables. They brought in a new general manager. This guy is not just a businessman, He is an announcer for the WWE. But most of all he is a professional musician. He has created a team of instructors that aldo not just have a degree in music, They are real artists professional musicians, teaching and mentoring. The School Of Rock music director Justin Caprio, RJ, Angelo, Jean and others are all all professional musicians. They know what it takes to teach an instrument, to teach the music theory behind the instrument, and to teach stage presence. SOR is not just a music school, It's where kids come together and share the same interest in music. They make the most amazing friends and some will last a lifetime. My son has three of the most amazing friends in his life. They have their own band called With skies. They have performed at some amazing venues and have even recorded two songs in the very same studio in South Jersey that Skid Row and other well-known bands have recorded. My son started there and It was a shocker when we saw him up on stage standing at the microphone. His very first song he ever performed in front of an audience was Black Sabbath fairies wear boots. Here this 11 year-old little boy blew us out of the water. This past weekend it came full circle and they did another performance group of black Sabbath. He ended his last performance with fairies wear boots. I have had roughly 40-ish lessons there and have barely been taught a single thing! First off the…read morelessons per month themselves are extremely pricey for over $300 a month! I have had two instructors and neither have taught me really anything correctly. The first one had taught me a few songs... all of them were COMPLETELY incorrect. The second one barely has taught me anything and I've had him for a little over 10 lessons and he refuses to teach me any songs, he also always says that he will help me learn this or that next week, but next week never comes. It was 100% not worth the money, time, and brain power that was put into it. This school's teaching system is a lure tactic where all they do is say they are helping you to practice, but they are really just not doing much of anything at all. It is even worse if you join their season band program along side their lessons, as when I was enrolled in it my teacher hadn't taught me a single part of any of the songs I was put on. That caused a huge amount of stress on my back as I had to learn the songs ALL ON MY OWN, while balancing my personal and educational life. This caused me to leave the band program, which then they tried to gaslight me into not leaving by saying things like, "Oh [Me] has learned so much, it would really be a shame if he leaves the band!" (Once again remember they hadn't taught me anything, not what so ever). I was better off choosing a different music program that was literally 1/4th of the price. I have been to this other class for only 4 lessons and have already learned to do things like read sheet music (which they hadn't helped me with at all basically).
