Goldfish Swim so far is pretty good! My daughter started in the beginning of July. We first found out about Goldfish from my daughter's school. They had a promotional bag that they sent home with all the parents. I love that they offer one class for free to see if you and your child like their facility, instructor, and class. My daughter is in the beginner class. They swim for 30 mins one day a week or however many days you have them signed up. They go over basic swimming skills like swimming properly, back floating, black swimming, going under water, and going under water to grab objects. I also like that it's only three kids to a class. I feel this is best for the kids to be able to each get a chance to participate in activities as well as have a little one on one time. Her instructor is Mary and she seems to like her and really be enjoying swim class. They are a little pricy, but when I looked up another school in the area it was about the same price. For one day a week, 30 minutes a class, the price is $88. Overall, I like Goldfish and can't wait to continue to see my daughter excel in swimming. read more

Child was in the water no longer than 5 minutes in a 30 minute session. Four kids to one teacher who doesn't appear to be a Red Cross certified instructor. I pulled my kid out but still had to pay for 30 more days. read more

This swim school has been nothing but amazing for my 5yr old. We were previously going elsewhere & she was not progressing at all, as soon as we switched here immediately noticed a difference in her confidence in the water & actually being excited to go to swim! Just in a short few months she went from screaming with a drop of water hitting her face, to independently swimming and can't wait to go to class! It is worth every penny!! So, seemingly lots of "nice" people here, but these people have no clue. Seriously, my kid has some special needs and this venue has botched teachers, class times, etc. So tired of calling and no one knows what is happening. Sure, the place is cute and the concept attractive, but the actuality is misleading, disappointing, and frankly UTTER CHAOS! A few good instructors, but does everyone really need to be cramped on one side of the pool?! read more

The swim instructors do not do a great job interacting with the kids. I've watched the staff restrain kids and hold them down. They aren't not well trained on de-escalating child behaviors that they deem as unfavorable. For example, kicking in the water when they are waiting for their turn to be with the instructor. I would not recommend this place to anyone with kids. read more

Both of my daughters have had swim lessons here and it has been great! My older daughter was basically scared of the water and my made great progress on swimming on her own. My younger daughter is having fun getting used to the water. I like the warm pool for my girls so they are comfortable and the not having to sign up for sessions Is great. If we can't make it to a class, I just call to cancel ahead of time and can reschedule a spot that works for us. It's not cheap, But I think it's well worth it. read more

Goldfish swim is not upholding the covid protocols that THEY put in place. They said in writing that they were requiring masks, but they don't always enforce it. I called ahead to check about the policy, I was told that parents would wear masks, even in the pool. This was not true. I can actually understand parents not wearing a mask in the pool, but when I arrived, a parent was sitting on a bench, unmasked. Children's Hospital in Cincy is almost out of beds right now between covid cases and RSV. I called to cancel the class, no response to my message left. Later, when I called again, they finally responded, but refused to waive the 30 day notice, charged me for the next month, when I clearly stated that I was cancelling due to poor execution of covid protocols. I didn't know 30 days in advance that they were not going to uphold their own policy. Either way, I will be taking my child to Kid's First. Better facility, better policies, you can cancel right on their website (same exact platform as Goldfish Swim). Goldfish intentionally makes it hard in an attempt to steal money. You have to go into the facility. Thanks to covid, I was able to refuse that method, but you should be able to cancel from the website just as easy as you can sign up to pay. read more

This place was a game changer for us. We had tried other swim lessons and felt it to be a complete waste of money and I'm a penny pincher. After one free trail lesson here, I knew this was our place. I saw results immediately. So worth the money. Love open swim time. Our son is swimmy free in time for our vacation! I love that they push the kids and don't give up on them when they cry. Actually my experience, they went above and beyond and gave my son one or one time to calm him. I can't say enough. Plus the decor is so cute. Love the swim suit dryer and hair dryer stations. We will have a birthday party here in March, can't wait. read more

While the instructors were great and my children learned a lot in class, I'm very disappointed with their service. Our schedules became busy and we were unable to attend classes. However, they continue to charge my credit card. I have called and emailed on multiple times with no response. I have currently been charged 3 months for not attending any classes. I am going to have drive there just to get this taken care of. Ridiculous. read more

Cute place and fun classes but too many restrictive rules around make ups. We signed up during cold season, so yep we missed some classes but geez their rules stressed me out too much so we won't be back. Also, the pressure to take classes all year was annoying. read more

My grandchildren love swimming at Goldfish Swim School. Everyone is so nice and helpful. The instructors are patient and knowledgeable. The place is clean and has everything we need for a great swimming lesson experience. We also love family swim in the warm water. Love, love, love it! read more

We searched for a swim school for a while and finally decided to enroll our kids to Goldfish. The inquiry through phone was very smooth and even more when we went to the facility and looked at the place. They were very accommodating and very professional. When my two year old started her lesson she had a crying episode for at least 3 lessons. The instructors were very patient and loving and even the owner Mandy stepped in and stayed with my daughter by d pool the whole lesson. Now, my daughter is loving and enjoying her lesson. My other son is also enjoying his lesson. The instructors are not pushy when my son doesn't like having his face in the water. They are patient as well about him being a boy that he is sometimes." read more
