Overall, the center is very clean, safe, and morale is crazy good here. You can tell that they have a great team and everybody is always positive and helpful. They're very caring and very safe with your children. I recommend to everyone to come here with your children. They have activities for your crawling baby all the way to swim, and gymnastics. And was given the ok to start working out again. Despite my injuries. My personal trainer Alyssa is fantastic. Knowledgeable and so helpful. Great personality. A goal of a workout is for one to be challenged. I can count on her to do just that. She is helping me regain my strength and confidence. Cannot thank her enough!

There is a lady who normally works on Sun, you get the feeling that she didn't want to be there... Her answers often ended with "I cannot help you" or "I cannot predict the future". We have decided to call for help during the week to seek help in order to avoid the lack of customer service... These are not major issues and should be an easy fix! I will start looking at other swim lesson facilities if no improvements made in the coming month. I have changed my review from 3 to 4 star as it has clearly improved on issue #1 since my review! This seriously went on for two weeks! So then I started calling other locations and asking if we could switch to their location one after another the same thing would happen where they would promise me a manager would call me back and I would never get a callback. That's when I realize this place was a complete and utter scam. It took me leaving a Facebook post and canceling my credit card to prevent them from charging me to get them to finally reach out to me where they offered me a free month of private lessons. We went to the first one and it was such a joke. The guy was literally just showing my son how to splash, swirled him around a little and called it a day. This was supposedly their swim instructor with the most experience. We've had lessons at other schools that Have been more more intensive for better price.

Originally, one of the biggest perks of the Cincy Y membership was that it allowed you to use all Cincinnati branches. Now, you can go to any Ohio YMCA with your membership! Way to go! I know the membership pricing varies based on economic conditions, and while the Y certainly isn't the cheapest option, I will say they offer a lot of bang for your buck if you are willing to take advantage. Pools and saunas at most locations, fitness classes offered at all of them and at varying times, ActiveTrax to customize your fitness regime, weight rooms, workout facilities, personal coaching, and various free training programs from weight loss to competitive running to healthy eating make the YMCA not just a weight room, but a comprehensive facility for better living. I will say that while the Y offers a wonderful program for synchronized and competitive swimming, it wreaks havoc on the pool availability schedule. During the school year, expect the pool to be occupied whenever the children can be there. Even with 3 pools available at the Powel Crosley, it is difficult to discern from the schedule when the pool is open to the public. The good news? You can always call and talk to a human being.

I have been going to Pure Barre (West Chester) for several months now and am entirely hooked. I…read morehave been working out my whole life, but was really needing to find something different to support and strengthen my lower back and joints. I saw an ad on Facebook for a free Pure Barre class. I signed up and dove in. My free intro class was with the owner, Kendra. She was kind and helpful throughout class-- providing gentle corrections on my form as we went along. I ended up signing up for the "8 class/month" package and am so glad I did. There are several different types of classes to choose from (my faves are Classic and Align). I have found that my workouts at Pure Barre have made me significantly stronger, more toned, more flexible, more controlled, and better balanced. I love that with the 8 class pack, I can fit classes into my monthly schedule at times that work best for me. The schedule varies each day and month, giving you an opportunity to try different classes, instructors, and workout times. The instructors are all amazing and so kind and helpful and encouraging and gentle in their corrections. I appreciate how closely they pay attention to each person's form, while leading a fast paced class. I won't lie-- the classes are hard. But they are worth it. And they move so fast there isn't much time to complain. Classes change monthly, so you never do the same workout more than a time or two. If you're nervous about trying a group class, I recommend still giving Pure Barre a chance. The fast pace, hard work, and fun music make it easy to relax and just focus on yourself and your form.
