It's ok. Only one smith machine so don't ever expect to be able to use that. I've been going here…read moresince late summer 2025 and it's been available once. And yes I go at diff times diff days of the week. If they aren't able to add another one my suggestion would be to have a sign up on the half hour. There's also zero hot water, not even warm, and I've tested every shower in the women's locker room. I also tested the faucets. Water only freezing cold.. So do not plan on showering. I notified management but nothing changed. Now I know why I'm the only one getting ready for work after a workout lol. The mason crunch has warm water, so one would assume it's not crunch policy to only have a polar plunge shower option.

I recently canceled my Crunch Fitness Anderson membership. Here's why:…read more I am a 75 year old male; I like to hit the gym several times a week and have been doing so for many, many years. I've been a Crunch Anderson member since early 2021, shortly after I arrived in Cincinnati. I really liked Crunch, a low-cost exercise facility with a variety of equipment for strength training. I have several gym friendships there. I had been a bit disappointed for a while at how much of the equipment was out-of-service due to needing repair. What I had not realized is that a particular piece of equipment, one of the leg extension machines, was broken. One Saturday morning early summer I was finishing up - it was a legs day - on the leg extension machine - either there was no out-of-service sign on the machine or, if there was one, it wasn't obvious. . As I exited the machine, the roller partially came off, tripping me. I fell face first and broke my nose. I bled profusely, Emergency Services was called, and I was taken to Mercy Hospital where I spend the next couple hours under observation after undergoing a CAT scan. I was very, very lucky to have only broken my nose - it is still a bit sore at times, but pretty much healed up. I could have broken a wrist or an arm, could have suffered a brain-bleed. The staff was, of course, wonderful: Performing first aid, calling Emergency Services, and staying with me until I was taken to Mercy by Emergency Services. So why, you ask, have I canceled my membership? Because the next-to-last time I visited Crunch, a couple weeks after my accident, the leg extension machine where I injured myself was still unrepaired, still in use. Crunch staff about this, unconcerned. This leads me to question Crunch Anderson's commitment to member safety. Hence, I am no longer a Crunch member, which makes me sad. PS. Not in Reson, VA, contrary to what Yelp says. Am in Cincinnati , OH

The equipment is maintained and repaired regularly so all my favorite stuff is ready to go! They recently remodeled and added a lot of new ways to exercise. It's awesome! There is plenty of room to spread out and get it done. I like the pool, steam room, and spa. My buddie and I took a pickleball clinic and after one class know the rules and moves. I would recommend this gym to anybody in the community. More than just some weights and treadmills!! Throw a few punches on the new punching bag.

When I asked if they carried plyometric gear, the representative interrupted me and rudely snapped, 'What does that have to do with Beechmont Racquetball Club?' When I explained I was asking to see if they had the right equipment to join, she gave a snooty 'okay' and demanded to know what equipment. Unbelievably unprofessional and dismissive customer service. I hung up and will gladly take my business elsewhere."

The instructors are always nice and motivating during my classes. They never make you feel like you're not doing enough in the class. Everyone is welcoming! They opened in the middle of the pandemic, but that really has not stopped their growth of clientele. I'll start with safety. Everyone is spaced out and has their own machines and dumbbells to use. They do a cleaning after each class and you have to wear your mask to move about the class or be in any other space of the building. I have always felt very safe while in there and I am one who is definitely paranoid about the virus. Now, moving on to the workouts. It's basically a high intensity work out for an hour. You spend 15 minute increments on the floor with weights and on the treadmill- two times for each. No class is the same and no instructor is the same. I love that because you're getting a different experience every time you walk in the door. Your body will constantly be challenged because of this also. I will say that each instructor is very motivating and great at pushing you to be your best you inside and outside of the classroom. None of that "earn what you eat" mess. That's the number one thing that keeps me coming back. I've been to a lot of other gyms in the city and this one takes the cake. Check them out!
