I was VERY naive, and unfortunately hired Aaron after recommendation from a friend of a friend... who later admitted they only recommended Aaron bc he got a referral fee. I had bad feelings about Aaron very shortly into the nightmare that is family court but his paralegal, Laura kept talking him up non stop anytime I would voice my concerns.. and against my better judgement I kept Aaron as my lawyer through the trial bc we were so far into it... and Laura kept assuring me that I would be blown away once we were in court by Aaron's performance Ha! Our case should've been an easy slam dunk and any 1st year law student could've came back with a better ruling than Aaron got me. Even Aaron admitted the Judge's rulings were "aggrecious" yet refused to take ANY responsibility for the dozens of mistakes and absolutely horrendous job he did "representing" me during our trial. Instead they sent even more bills and never responded when I questioned the assanine charges. I literally did not feel like Aaron was "on my side" at any point which is a horrible way to feel with your lawyer while you're on the stand. If Aaron knew this judge was about to retire and was so awful- why wouldn't he have pushed for a new judge? Aaron completely took advantage of my situation for over a year, wrote endless emails to the other side fighting back and forth in some sort of pissing match with the other lawyer getting absolutely ZERO resolved and We were forced to go to trial which was a DISASTER. Aaron was a cold, emotionless robot who couldn't have cared less about me, my situation or my children. He exhibited Zero empathy throughout the whole case and zero regard for how dearly his failure as a lawyer has cost us. Literally could've had the tens of thousands I gave to Aaron back, I could've had a down payment on a house and a place for my boys and I to live instead of being homeless for months while my ex stole all of our community funds. Honestly- Hiring Aaron was my biggest regret in life (next to marrying my ex). Now that After 2 years into this I am FINALLY divorced (as of this month) it is no thanks to Aaron. After spending tens of thousands of dollars (I didn't have), I then had to hire another lawyer (Yvette Ansel-who is incredible) and actually has a soul (unlike Aaron) who is an emotionless robot that overcharges for literally doing nothing but pushing papers... Yvette finally got me the divorce and over the past several months we have been to court multiple times to attempt to reverse horrible financial rulings that Aaron got me. An absolute NIGHTMARE.
