His staff is first rate, ensuring I was aware of what they were about to do and the purpose of each step. For me, this is important to ensure there are no surprises. My family & I have been going here since 2008, 17-long years. Although most of the hygienists I've…read moreseen were good & gentle, I had one issue there with one hygienist going back, who I felt was a little rude and not gentle enough with me & let her know it. Of course, she complained to the staff. That was the only time I had an issue there. I admire and do like & trust Dr Fusco, and definitely feel I'm in good hands, as far as, my oral heath is concerned, and I'm very finicky about what dentist I want working in my mouth, and on the teeth I have left. My only complaint is I wish he would spend a little more time with me and let the patient talk/explain before he lets the hygienist gag me and goes to work. I do feel a bit rushed, in all honesty. Maybe I wouldn't have a first failed, or reinfected root canal had I been able to elaborate more about the the ongoing sensations I was feeling on this tooth not long after the initial root canal? Now, as luck would have it, there is pain that I'm feeling on what I thought was an successful initial root canal a few years ago, or so. Apparently, the tooth or canal has become reinfected and I can't afford to loose the tooth, nor hopefully, even the crown that was put on after the initial root canal, not that long ago. I'm hoping Dr Fusco himself can do a root canal retreatment so he doesn't have to farm me out, unless it will require an endodontist to do the surgical and/or more complex procedure to remove the infection/abscess and save the tooth. I can't afford to lose ANY more teeth. My last resort is to extract and lose the tooth. I lost enough molars since I was kid from being afraid of the dentist & the novacaine injection, at least, when I was younger. Hopefully, this reinfected tooth can be addressed by retreatment or apicoectomy, if even necessary, as the tooth canal has now definitely become infected or reinfected but this slowly happened over time and I began noticing a numbness & tingling in this tooth not long after the initial procedure? Now, it's just pain and discomfort as I'm writing this, especially, if I press/bite on tooth or push on the gums way above the tooth. I will be seen soon. Hopefully, this problem that slowly surfaced with this tooth, is rectified and resolved. ‍

A dental assistant named Nicole was completely out of line. I had to deal with her twice giving the benefit of the doubt the first time. She emotionally dumped all over me with personal and professional complaints both times. She insulted my teeth, asking about stains (most people ask how I get my teeth so white) and making me feel bad on purpose. She constantly crossed physical boundaries, leaning directly over my body and pressing up against my chest during a procedure, which was entirely unnecessary. Furthermore, she spent the appointment complaining and trying to gaslight me into thinking I was the problem, when I was simply trying to relax and get my teeth cleaned. I actually had to sit up in the chair and tell her to please stop talking and focus on cleaning my teeth just to get through the service. She passive aggressively scraped the plague in a forceful manner so I could hear all her hard work. When I complained to management about Nicole's unprofessional behavior, nothing was done. No apology or anything. The billing practices are also dishonest. I was told twice by the office staff that bringing my daughter in would incur zero out-of-pocket costs. Instead, I was hit with surprise bills totaling over $300 each time. When I brought this up, the office manager offered nothing but excuses and attempted to guilt-trip me for holding a basic boundary regarding their staff's lies. To top it off, the actual dental work was sub-par. A crown put in by the owner fell out multiple times shortly after completion, forcing me to pay thousands of dollars out of pocket at a new practice to have his mistake entirely redone. They constantly pester patients for 5-star reviews, but this practice does not deserve them. Go somewhere else.

Had a routine wisdom tooth extraction. Wait time was long, but what office doesn't have long wait…read moretimes? Doctor Lee begins extraction. His bedside manner is not the greatest. 2/3 of the way through and he cuts me so badly that the blood won't stop pooling in my mouth. At this point he's in and out of the room, I assume with other patients. I have to communicate with the assistant using the note function on my phone to let her know I cannot hold anymore blood in my mouth. He finally comes back. Informs me that if the bleeding doesn't stop I'll have to go to the hospital. Then complains (jokes?) that I ruined his Friday night. This went on for hours. I did not get charged for the butchering (gee thanks) and received 2 follow up phone calls for two days after. 3 weeks later the wound isn't healed yet. Accidents happen, but this turned into a nightmare. I tried to see if I was overreacting, but my insurance carrier assured me this was abnormal and worth reporting and filing a complaint. I had one appointment prior and that was uneventful, besides the pressure to have the extraction, which i should have denied. Tried to go for a deep cleaning and had to cancel due to childcare. No other appointments available for months. Probably for the best.

I was so scared (really, really scared), but he was nice and making jokes from the start and it relaxed me basically right away. Also, the extraction itself was extremely quick and gentle. I never leave reviews but I think the bad review he got didn't do him justice. Everyone's experience is valid but don't let the bad review turn you away. Recommend him 100%

Many people are fearful of the dentist; he told me that I was abnormal. This is so unprofessional, and I will never go back, so if you're a chicken like I am you must avoid Dr Ira Goldberg.

I had not been advised of this prior to my appointment but thought he must of had an emergency and this was a one off. Yesterday I had an appointment at 10:30 with Dr Campolattaro and after the cleaning was told Dr Campolattaro was not yet in and to wait in the waiting room for his arrival. I paid for the visit and made my next appointment and went to the waiting room. After waiting at least 40 minutes I went to the desk and was advised he was not going to be until 12:15 pm. I told them I had to leave for another appointment and could not wait. I was asked it I wanted to make another appointment to see the doctor. Why this was my appointment? I proceeded to my next Doctors appointment and after relaying my story he told me I should let the doctor office know how unhappy I was . Today I called and not only did I not get I am sorry I got told that when I made the appointment for yesterday I was told Dt Campollataro would not be in till 12 :15. That is just an out right lie. I do not want to spend 2 hours ( of which 1 1/2 hours waiting in the waiting room. She had no excuse why he was not there 6 months ago. So my advice to anyone if you want to pay for a periodontist do not book an appointment there before asking if the Doctor was in. I am writing this negative review because I am so annoyed with receptionist stating that I was told this. Poor customer service.
