Cascades is beautifully maintained, but the holes are a bit boring, lots of short putts, everything is PAR 2. Not very many obstacles TBH, maybe I was spoiled on the West Coast with awesome windmill and skill obstacles. The super-low skill level probably makes it more kid-friendly, and mostly it was parents with young kids. They know where the market is, tho seniors and teenagers get $1 off regular price ($13 instead of $14) what a deal, LOL. I'd come back, but goddamn, bring some water or food or something, it's a long f'n wait. We even joked about calling Skip the Dishes while we we were waiting. Only decent mini-golf in Montreal area, apparently. Worse wait than Disneyland. Expect to stand in line (line ride) for at least an hour, then another hour (bench ride) until you golf. Kudos to all the kids who kept their behaviour controlled through the brutal boring wait. Keeps the ice cream shop flush I guess. They are definitely set up better to sell ice cream to a captive audience than they are to accommodate hoards of folks coming to mini-golf. The real money is there after all.

The fact that each hole is on a different level makes this mini putting experience enjoyable and different from other places. However, be advised that there is an initial 40min wait to get to the first hole on a busy day. It is still worth it. Prices are decent and not too expensive for what you play for. Grab an ice cream at the local ice cream shop in the same complex when you're done, it's delicious!

The course is not very difficult and good practice. The fairway is in good condition, better than many more expensive courses in comparison for the area. The water hazards and sand traps aren't a major obstacle but significant hills and the putting greens can be a challenge. If you slice or hook you will probably end up in the woods as the fairway can be narrow. The staff are very friendly, the price is reasonable - 9 holes on a weekend for $22 (of which $4 is for push cart rental). Enjoy the atmosphere and the other players are respectful and good mannered. No picnic lunches allowed and they run an early morning breakfast special starting at 6:30 am. I haven't eaten there but the facilities are clean and well maintained. Fresh water in coolers available along the course for free and a port a potty set up around the 7th hole. Great views of natural landscape, not a lot of pretty flowers so no significant chance of getting stung by a bee. Small mini golf practice area where I've seen children practice with their father and I suggested we try that sometime. I've seen all ages play golf at this location.

For someone who doesn't drive I am pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed this activity…read more The staff is very nice want to come in you give your name and because it's Covid they do check that you do have your vaccination passport. once you pay they give you a head cover that is worn under the helmets you can either keep your mask or you can take it off because the head cover they give you acts as a mask and as a barrier against the helmet. (You will look like a ninja with the black head cover - they give it for you to keep or toss after you're done). Once a group is ready they bring you into the side room for someone to give you instructions on the signals the the different flags and the meetings of each flag as well as instructing you how the pedals work. Again being that I was the only one who didn't have a license and I'm afraid to drive I was feeling really nervous and scared. They call your name and give you the number of which car you'll drive. As I started going the first her and I was a little wobbly but after the first laugh I let go and honestly it was a lot of fun it was exhilarating adrenaline going and just a good way to free any pent-up energy. I love this so much I'll end up going a second time and because it was so easy to maneuver with the right pedal which would generally be your gas pedal you only use that to go and you slowly lift your foot off the pedal to be able to slow down or to even break. You don't use the other pedal which is the brake pedal at all because the right pedal slows you down as you lift up your foot. I took one star off because of the pricing it's $25 for eight minutes which would give you 12 to 13 laps. But just thinking about $25 before tax for that little time is pretty expensive but I do understand the cost of the place the machines the cleaning the everything but overall it's just a little expensive. This was a activity that I really enjoyed with my significant other and I would have like to make it a monthly activity but because of the pricing it's not some thing that is sustainable to do every month. I definitely courage you to go in groups for birthdays friday activity it's definitely a lot of fun. For some people am I give them a sense of nausea or heartache because of how fast you turn on the curves and sometimes you get bumped into the walls but it is definitely worth at least one try. If driving in real life was exactly like driving at the go carts I would already have my license!
