It's not overrun with folks and it's clean and relaxing and I love it. It's a good 1.5hrs from Montreal (not including traffic) and that prob keeps the crowds down. The best part might be the little casse croute run by a local dad and some kids. They make the hot dogs and burgers and things when you order them on a small hotplate and chat with you at the window while you wait. It's delicious and cheap and perfect.

What other zoo can you happily walk around in snow pants and see beautiful animals when it's absolutely freezing outside?! It was not even crowded and all the animals are active. They have such a wide range of amazing animals such as elephants, giraffes, lemurs, monkeys, leopards, moles, birds, tigers, lions, red pandas, kangaroos, turtles hippos, bats and beyond! You can have the opportunity to feed and ride horses and goats! They are incredibly friendly and will rub against you and follow your children; they're ridiculously hilarious and don't care about personal space. So affectionate! In the summer you can have the water park and other amenities, but the winter time we had so much fun! The mascots will have dance parties and greet you! They're so much fun! Also they speak French and English here! Also don't forget to stop by the gift shop OMG THEY HAVE EVERYTHING! The best gift shop ever and I bought my favorite lemur stuffed animal!! Once inside the park you will walk on a crushed stone or cement trail that follows the Coaticook River. There are great views of the river. At one point you reach the main attraction, a suspension bridge that takes you hundreds of feet above the river. It's terrifying if you are scared of heights. In another area, you can climb the stairs up a tower and look out over the countryside. There are restrooms along the trail. At night they have an interesting light show. Coaticook is an interesting town. They have a museum, an ice cream manufacturing plant (and ice cream stand), a microbrewery, a small hiking mountain, restaurants, and shops.

As first-time visitors, her deep knowledge and enthusiasm allowed us to enjoy the mountain to the fullest--both during our session and on the days following. Christiane has skied Sutton since the 1960s and her passion for the terrain is infectious. She took the time to carefully assess our different abilities, guiding us so that my girlfriend felt safe while progressing from green to blue and eventually black trails. Her frequent check-ins and attentive nature allowed us to explore areas I never would have attempted on my own. Christiane is warm, open, and a brilliant communicator. I recommend her highly to anyone looking to get acquainted with the magic of Mont Sutton.

So why did I rate it 3/5 ? well two main reason 1st there are lots of informative signs along the trails and they look extremely interesting BUT the are only in French. I was sure Canada is a bilingual country it is extremely disrespectful to ignore the majority of the population. secondly I see no reason why dogs (on a leash) would not be aloud on some of the trails, this park could easily be dog friendly. After saying that I will again say this park has an incredible beautiful trails, a cool system of wooden bridges along and above the wet lends an a wide selection of birds that makes it an idealy location for small kids and people who are looking for a fun easy walk.
