I'm bummed out that I didn't get a swag bag this year apparently it's all gone pretty quickly as soon as the store closed. But looking at the other gals who got it seems like it's a Nike golf cap like last year (they gave out Puma last year) and some snacks and small items. However, they did serve refreshments this year, which I didn't get at their Markham location last year. I don't know if I'll be back... perhaps if I'm free and I can find another golf buddy besides my husband to join me (I got no female golf playing friends). Anywho people were nice we got to putt for a raffle and compete for the closest to the pin challenge at 111 yards. I didn't win anything but it's nice to see many women there and they weren't super competitive either. Normally in a golf setting, I see mostly men and they all seem to play quite well. It's a nice change to see a golf event with all women. Some discounts during that event too though nothing super cheap deal. I wasn't particularly in the market for something and I'm just here for the vibes and hopefully score a prize. There are three simulators here so on a normal day you can use it to try out their golf clubs there before purchasing. There also a StudioX centre here if you're really fancy with your club set with custom fittings.

This is a pretty popular golf store located in one of the busiest outdoor malls in all of Western New York - or the state probably, ew - so good luck getting in and out of here if you need some golf stuff. My tip (just the tip) is to maybe combine it with the other stores if you want to have a proper Shopping trip and to justify the traffic getting in and out of this area of the city. Parking can sometimes be tricky as well. They do have a lot of expensive and mid price Golf stuff, much of which you can only usually find online (Walmart doesn't carry 80 percent of this crap), and it's a big store but it's also really expensive and you can probably find a lot of this stuff cheaper online or from different brands. So a mixed experience, and a great chance to hang out around the older generations. But then I do that every day at the Y.

I called Golf Galaxy and they said they could only order a replacement club from the most recent model of club, I explained to the guy what PING said and he said let me ask my manager , put me on hold for about 5 minutes and came back and said the boss told him no can do, cant order it. I called PING and they gave me another retailer Woods and Wedges , they ordered the club in about 3 minutes , looks like with Golf Galaxy it's upsell or no sale. either that or they just could not be bothered, Just happy that their is another Golf retailer within 20 miles of my home, Woods and Wedges in Williamsville ,N.Y.

As I did with Pro Hockey Life in Whitby. I bought a new pair of hockey skates, expensive ones , that were hurting my feet because they were to small. I brought them back a few days later, I asked to speak to the manager . I was expecting a hassel, but instead what I got was understanding and they replaced the skates re profiled and re heated at no cost and no hassle. How cool was that..
