They go above & beyond to help grow the sport in this area- including spearheading the fundraising and installation of red tee pads at Como Lake Park in Lancaster. They have a very active social media presence and post as soon as they receive shipments. They're always happy to set aside a disc or two for you. Also, they accept drop-offs of discs that you may find while on the course and will reach out to the number on the disc to get it returned. If you're a female or beginner getting into disc golf, Spartan has a section of lightweight discs available which are usually easier to control & throw than heavier or higher speed discs. I do find their prices to be a little higher than other stores carrying disc golf supplies. And the presence of vape in the store is a bit off-putting. But, those things aside, it's definitely worth a visit if you play and are looking to add to your bag.

I was treated so poorly at Pete's Tackle years ago that I for one embrace the idea of Bass Pro moving in. On the local fishing chat rooms, the chat is often edited when it comes to this subject but for the record let me share my story....and this story comes from a guy who worked at all the local tackle shops over the years From John Dixon's to Steve's and who knows customer service firsthand. I had bought a light rod from Pete's for my wife to use at Jordan Harbour in our canoe. She hooked a one lb sheepshead and when lifting it up, the rod snapped! Hmmmmmmm.... not good and I have seen many rods break over time and once made my own rods so, i headed back to Pete's. What happened to me there still makes me sick to this day. As soon as i got in the door to tell my story to Pete, it was a "good cop, bad cop" routine. An older part-time employee ( a GM worked I was told later), looked at me after i told my story about the rod, and said to me "you closed your trunk on it". I remained calm and repeated my story. "Nope", he said. "You closed your trunk on it." Petes stood there staring off into the distance. I was stunned, flabbergasted and so pissed off I never went back and in no way intend to ever go back. I spend annually approximately 600 to a 1,000 on pure tackle. Their loss. I went on to use Bass Pro online and they have been wonderful to me. Welcome to Niagara, Bass Pro!

There is also extremely loud music. Background music should be in the background and not so loud that you can't possibly block it out. Yes, I am an older person but when I was in there I noticed a lot of customers in my demographic. You can rest assured that most of us are not enjoying the volume.
